Dear diary,
today a sunfish tackled me off the ship. Yeah, that's a thing that happened. Luckily, Jack and Moral came to my rescue. Anyway, I've never seen so many sunfish congregate, let alone surround a vessel. Would say it was a feverdream, if I didn't have the bruises to show.
Yeah.
Also we had bananas. Just bananas. We ate bananas staring at a bunch of sunfish.

So I'm short. 1,70 m [about 5'6"]. No reason to bully me like this, okay?!
I will get my revenge on Abel. Tomorrow. After a shower and a good breakfast for two

How long would it say it takes you to draw and post something? I’m always deterred from getting to make stuff cause it takes me so long and other people seem to churn it out daily
Hello Lovely Anon!
It depends a lot on how I'm feeling etc! A sketchy comic like the BruRis I posted last night takes about 4 hours, a b/w pic between 1-2 hours. If I make a longer comic where I try to have cleaner lines and color, it's harder to say, I usually just kinda spend the whole evening on it!
But that's when I'm really motivated for it and have actual time for it. Otherwise, it can take up to several days.
But in general, since that's the reason you asked: Please take as long as you need. Speed is not an indicator of how good of an artist you are. The most important thing as an artist, in my personal opinion and experience, is that you get things done. It's the best way to improve and learn and see your progress. Speed can naturally come with practice, but even if it doesn't, it really doesn't matter all that much.
Just try to finish the pictures you're working on at your own pace! <3
