He wondered if it had looked like running. Which it was. He had needed time away from the others to feel normal or almost normal, which is why he had chosen to go to UCLA. He had no illusions about making accounting a career. He was aware, however dimly, that the whole superhero gig would be a hard one to shake for long. Hell it was why he was back here on the east coast.

It felt a little uneasy being back at Xavier's, like clothes that both did and didn't quite fit right. But it wasn't as if he could go stay with his parents on Long Island. Not anymore.

He waved at the other mutant feeling a little awkward and out of place. "Long time no see," He said.
