A Flower in the Abyss
Note: I wasn't sure what to do with this dialogue prompt at first, but I definitely wanted it to be about Gil and Violet. In the end, I came up with this. If you haven't read Gil's route, be warned. There are spoilers. @theocxcanonweek Fandom: Ikemen Prince Characters: Gilbert von Obsidian, Violet (OC) Prompt: “I’d burn the world for you.” Words: 1,008
Gilbert and Violet were settled on the bed, savoring the peaceful moment together. The room around them was quiet, save for the soft rustle of the sheets and the rhythmic sound of their breathing. Violet had her knees tucked beneath her, her body supporting Gilbert's head as he rested it in her lap. His crimson eye was closed in quiet contentment, his body relaxed.
Violet gazed down at him, a soft smile gracing her lips as she brushed her fingers through his dark hair, her thumb tenderly caressing his cheek.
Gilbert slowly opened his eye, the deep red of it shimmering in the dim light as he met her gaze. His smile deepened, softening his otherwise sharp features. “You look happy.”
“It’s because I’m with you.”
“Is that so? But you were afraid of me at first.”
“That’s true. But even then, a part of me was happy being with you.”
Gilbert’s lips curled into a small smirk, though there was no malice in it. “Even when my kindness had cruel intentions?”
“Yes. Because deep down, I knew you were truly kind.”
An amused hum escaped Gilbert’s lips. He was a villain, a man feared by many, known as the Worldwide Disaster, the Conqueror Beast. Yet, despite all that, Violet, knowing the depths of his darkness, had chosen to stay by his side. There were moments when his villainous nature reared its head, reminding her of the danger that surrounded him, but even so, she never turned away. She knew who he was, and she loved him anyway.
Violet's smile faded, replaced by sadness in her eyes. “I'm scared that you'll disappear one day, and I'll never get to see you again. I don’t want that. I would be lonely.”
Gilbert’s expression softened, a sad smile on his lips and his chest tightening at the thought of her loneliness. He knew, deep down, how much his absence would devastate her. He had always thought that his life would be short-lived, that he would have disappeared long ago. But here he was, alive, breathing, and with her.
He didn't want her to ever feel the same loneliness he had felt.
With a small, reassuring smile, he sat up and took her hand gently in his, placing it over his chest, where his heart beat steadily. “It’s okay.” He said softly. “I’m right here. See? My heart is still beating, which means I’m still alive.”
“But…”
“Hm… What can I do to make you smile again?” Gilbert muttered, his face clouding with sorrow before his lips curled into a grin. “Oh, I know. Close your eyes.”
Violet complied without question, and she closed her eyes, awaiting whatever he had in mind. Minutes passed in silence, and then she felt the touch of his fingers in her hair, weaving something gently into the strands near her ear. She stayed still, waiting for the surprise.
When she finally opened her eyes, she saw Gilbert’s familiar smile, his gaze focused entirely on her as he waited for her to notice the gift he had left in her hair. Her fingers instinctively reached up, brushing against the cool surface of whatever it was he had placed there. She gently pulled the item out of her hair and held it carefully in her fingers, examining its intricate design—a violet flower hair clip, its petals intricately woven from lace. A soft gasp escaped her lips as she marveled at the beauty of it, her heart swelling with emotion.
When her gaze finally met Gilbert's, she smiled. "It's beautiful. Did you make this, Gil?"
“Of course. After all, I don't want you to wear something made by someone else. And since you usually wear your hair in a bun, I thought this would be a nice touch.”
"Thank you. I'll cherish it forever."
"Hehe. I'm glad you like it." Gilbert watched her for a moment longer, his gaze unwavering as she admired the gift. Then, he closed his eye briefly, the warmth of the moment settling over him like a gentle embrace. “I love you, Miss Little Sheep. I love you so much that I'd do anything for you. I'd eliminate anyone who dares to make you sad. I'd burn the world for you if you asked."
His words were heavy, dark, and intense, yet Violet wasn’t frightened. Instead, she had come to accept his villainous nature, the fierce protectiveness he held over her. She knew he would go to any lengths to ensure her safety and happiness—even if it meant walking down a dark and violent path. And though she didn’t always agree with his methods, she couldn’t deny that the depth of his love for her was something she cherished.
“I love you too. Please don’t leave me all alone.” She replied quietly.
Gilbert’s gaze softened as he reached out, cupping her cheek gently in his hand. “Don't worry. I won't. You won't either, right?”
Violet’s heart fluttered at his words, her chest tightening with the weight of the emotion she felt for him. She had always known, deep down, that Gilbert’s devotion to her was absolute, but hearing him say it aloud made her heart ache in a way that was both painful and beautiful. She could see the sincerity in his blood-red eye, the vulnerability hidden beneath his villainous exterior. He, too, was afraid of losing her, just as she feared losing him.
She gently reached up, covering his hand that rested on her cheek with her own. "I won't. I never will."
The smile on Gilbert's face lingered, his thumb brushing over her cheekbone as he leaned in closer, his breath cool against her skin. "No matter what happens, you’re mine. Nothing will ever come between us."
Violet smiled at his words, her heart swelling with the knowledge that he was hers too. No matter how dark his past, how dangerous his nature, she had made her choice. And she would stand by him, through whatever trials awaited them.
There was no turning back, and, truth be told, she didn’t want to.

Entangled Affection
Note: @theocxcanonweek is about to end soon. It's been fun writing for the OCs that I chose and their respected love interests. Fandom: Ikemen Prince Characters: Gilbert von Obsidian, Violet (OC) Prompt: Hug from Behind Words: 1,030
“Are you ready, Miss Little Sheep?” Gilbert asked with a smile.
Violet, who was standing in front of the mirror brushing her hair in preparation for the day, turned toward him, offering a soft smile of her own. She wore the dress he had picked out for her for their date—a black dress with short, ruffled sleeves, a bow tied at the waist, and a delicate rose pattern along the hem of the skirt. “Not yet. I’m almost finished.”
Before she could continue brushing her hair, Gilbert was already standing behind her, so close that she could feel the coldness of his body. His smile remained unchanged, as serene and gentle as ever, yet with an unspoken authority. “I’ll help you."
Violet gave a small, resigned nod, handing him the brush. She knew well that once Gilbert had made up his mind about something, there was little chance of refusal. She turned her attention back to the mirror, watching his hands work through her hair, the soft rhythm of the brush gliding through the strands filling the otherwise quiet room.
She found herself mesmerized by the soothing motion, the gentle tugs of the brush on her scalp calming her nerves. After a few moments, she broke the silence, her voice barely above a whisper, unsure. “Gil? Should I cut my hair?”
He paused, his fingers stilling, as he stared at her through the reflection in the mirror. “I don’t mind if you do, but why are you asking that all of a sudden?”
"Well… My hair has gotten too long, and it gets tangled all the time. It’s been bothering me.”
“Then I’ll be here to untangle it for you, no matter how long it gets.” Gilbert answered, resuming his task with renewed care, gently working through the tangles. “But even if you cut it, you’ll still look beautiful. It doesn’t matter what length it is.”
Violet blushed, a soft pink hue coloring her cheeks. She lowered her gaze, unable to hide the shy smile that tugged at her lips. “Thank you.”
Gilbert merely chuckled in response, his fingers continuing their steady rhythm. The quiet between them stretched on again, and before long, he finished, stepping back to admire his handiwork. "All done. Do you like it?"
Violet met his gaze in the mirror, her reflection catching the soft shine in her eyes. Gilbert had worked through her hair with such care and precision that it now felt lighter, smoother, and far less tangled than it had before. She ran a hand through the strands, feeling the difference immediately. “Yes, thank you.”
Gilbert’s crimson eye shimmered with pride at her words, but there was an underlying warmth there, one that made Violet’s heart flutter. “You're welcome.”
Just as she was about to turn and step away, she felt Gilbert’s arms wrap around her waist, pulling her gently back against him. Her eyes widened slightly, and she glanced over her shoulder. "Gil?”
“I want to hold you like this for a little while. That’s okay, right?”
Violet nodded, her body relaxing in his embrace as she placed one hand over his. The coldness of his body seeped through her dress, his chest lightly pressed against her back. It was a comforting sensation, one that made her feel safe, protected. The rhythmic beat of his heart, muffled against her back, became a soothing counterpoint to the gentle sound of her breathing.
For a few moments, they stayed like that, wrapped in each other’s presence. It was a peaceful silence, one that filled the room with a sense of tranquility and connection. Finally, Gilbert’s voice broke the quietness, his tone soft and tender. "Turn your head towards me, Miss Little Sheep."
Violet obeyed, her breath catching in her throat as Gilbert pressed his lips to hers. Closing her eyes, she kissed him back, the tenderness of the moment making her heart race.
When Gilbert pulled away, he chuckled, noticing her flushed cheeks. “Hehe. Your face is red. How cute.”
"I can't help it. You always make me feel like this." Violet muttered, her face growing warmer as she looked down once more, embarrassed.
Gilbert tightened his hold on her waist, pulling her closer, savoring the feeling of her in his arms. "You’re always so adorable. I don't want other men seeing you like this. If they do, well... I'm sure you'll know what will happen, right?"
"I know. But don't worry. I only have eyes for you, Gil."
"Ahaha. Good." Gilbert loosened his grip slightly, yet the warmth of his embrace still lingered. He rested his chin on Violet's shoulder and nuzzled his face against the crook of her neck, sighing contently.
Violet shivered, the sensation sending a warm tingle down her spine. She had never experienced anything like it before, not until she met Gilbert—being held with such gentleness, feeling so deeply cherished and cared for. "Gil..." She spoke softly. "Shouldn't we go on our date now? If we stay like this, it'll get dark."
"I wouldn't mind staying like this forever. That way, you'll never leave me."
“But we can’t. You said that you wanted to go.”
Gilbert chuckled, the sound a melodic note in the quiet of the room. He lifted his chin from her shoulder and pulled away slightly, still keeping his hands on her waist. “You’re right. I suppose we’d better leave, then.”
Violet turned to face him, her heart fluttering at the sight of his smile—so genuine, so at ease. “Where are we going, exactly?”
Gilbert’s grin grew wider. “That’s a secret. You’ll see when we get there.”
A spark of curiosity bubbled inside Violet, though worry tugged at her mind as well. Even so, she decided to trust him. “All right.”
“Trust me, Miss Little Sheep. You’ll like it. I promise.”
“Okay.”
With a final squeeze of her waist, Gilbert released her and gestured toward the door, his usual grace in every movement. “Shall we go?”
Violet smiled with a nod, her heart racing as the lingering warmth from his touch spread through her chest. Gilbert reached for her hand, lacing his fingers with hers.
Together, they left the room, the promise of their date ahead.

Where the Heart Leads
Note: I don't really like how this turned out, but it is what it is. @theocxcanonweek Fandom: Ikemen Prince Characters: Leon Dompteur, Olivia (OC) Prompt: "Take my hand." Words: 1,247
Olivia followed Leon down the narrow alley, their destination a tavern—a place completely unfamiliar to her. Most would deem it beneath a noblewoman, but the thought intrigued her. She had always heard of the rowdy, unruly patrons within, so different from the well-mannered circles she usually inhabited.
But with Leon leading the way, it felt like stepping into a new world—one she wasn’t entirely sure she was prepared for. Still, with him by her side, she couldn’t help but feel as if anything was possible.
The tavern soon appeared, nestled between two larger buildings, its door spilling out sounds of laughter, conversation, and the occasional cheer. Leon pushed the door open, and a warm, earthy scent of wood smoke and hearty meals enveloped them. Olivia paused just inside, surveying the dimly lit room. The walls were lined with bottles and barrels, and a large hearth crackled in the corner, casting flickering shadows over the mismatched tables and lively patrons filling the space.
Leon seemed completely at ease in the rough atmosphere, sauntering in as though it were his second home. Olivia trailed after him, doing her best to blend in. It was unlike anything she had ever experienced—nothing like the refined, tranquil dining rooms of her family’s estate. The air was thick with the scent of ale, and the sounds of clinking mugs and clattering plates mingled with boisterous chatter.
They made their way to a table in the back, and Leon gestured for Olivia to sit. She did so, smoothing the fabric of her dress as she settled into the seat, suddenly aware of how out of place she felt among the unruly crowd. However, Leon’s confident presence reassured her.
“So, what do you think?” He asked with a mischievous gleam in his eyes as he surveyed the room. “This isn’t exactly where you’d usually find yourself, is it?”
Olivia chuckled, her fingers tracing the edge of the table. “It’s... different. Very different. But I like it.”
There was a charm in the unrefined energy of the tavern. The laughter felt authentic, unpolished, and it was hard not to feel pulled into the lively atmosphere.
Leon smiled. “I thought you might. It’s the kind of place where you can forget about everything for a while.”
Before long, their meals arrived, and they ate, letting the conversation shift to lighter, everyday topics. Despite the tavern’s raucous energy, Olivia found herself at ease in Leon’s presence. For the first time in a long time, she felt free from the weight of her noble responsibilities and the need to maintain composure. She was pleasantly surprised when the food turned out to be far more flavorful than she’d expected, and the rich taste made her smile in genuine adoration.
“You look like you’re enjoying yourself.” Leon commented.
Olivia nodded her head. “I am. The mood is so cheerful, and the food is delicious.”
“Haha. That's good to hear.”
They continued to eat, the noise around them growing louder as more patrons poured in. Just as they finished, a brawl suddenly erupted in the middle of the room.
Without hesitation, Leon rose to his feet, leaving a few coins on the table, and looked at Olivia with a serious expression. “We should go.”
Her heart racing, Olivia stood and moved closer to him. The chaos swirled around them, and she instinctively pressed in even nearer. Leon’s hand rested firmly on her back as he guided her toward the door.
He led her effortlessly through the scattering crowd. The brawl was in full swing now—punches flying, tables overturned, and the sounds of shouting and clattering mugs reverberated throughout the room. But Leon moved with determination, his focus on getting Olivia safely to the exit. As they neared the door, she glanced over her shoulder, her pulse quickening when she saw a chair hurtling through the air. Even so, Leon’s grip never faltered. His eyes remained fixed on their escape, and soon they were outside, the noise of the tavern fading behind them.
Olivia exhaled deeply, the rush of fresh air calming her racing heart. She turned to Leon, her chest still heaving.
“Sorry.” Leon said, guilt lining his face. “Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to bring you there. I should’ve known something like that was gonna happen. You could’ve gotten hurt.”
Shaking her head, Olivia gave him a reassuring smile. “It’s okay. I’m fine, see? Nothing to worry about. Anyway, where are we going next?”
Leon’s expression softened as he thought for a moment, placing his hand on his hip. “Hm... How about somewhere quieter?” He extended his hand to her, grinning. “Take my hand. I’ll show you even greater things.”
For a brief moment, Olivia hesitated. There was something in the way he spoke, something in his gaze, that made her feel like this was more than just another adventure. Her heart fluttered. After a beat, she placed her hand in his, her fingers curling around his with an unspoken trust. “Where are we going?”
Leon’s smile deepened, and with a slight tilt of his head, he led her down a quiet street, leaving the tavern and its noise behind. “You’ll see.”
They walked in silence for a while, the soft sound of their footsteps the only noise, occasionally interrupted by the distant call of a bird in the trees. Olivia felt a sense of calm wash over her as the tension of earlier melted away with each step. She wondered what Leon had planned next, but part of her realized it didn’t matter. Being here, with him, felt like enough.
After a short while, they arrived at the base of a hill. It was a peaceful spot, with only the faintest glow from the town below spilling into the night. Leon paused at the bottom, then turned to Olivia.
“This way.” He said, his voice steady, as he began to climb.
Olivia followed, her legs moving slower on the steep incline. But when they reached the top, the view before her took her breath away.
The town stretched out below them, bathed in the soft glow of the moon. From this height, the streets looked peaceful. Olivia could see the rooftops, and the distant mountains framing the horizon.
Turning his gaze from the town to her, Leon’s expression softened. “It’s one of my favorite spots. There’s something about seeing everything laid out like this. It feels peaceful.”
Olivia nodded, a smile tugging at her lips. It was indeed a beautiful sight. One that she would remember forever. “It’s beautiful.” She whispered, her eyes lingering on the mountains in the distance. At that moment, the worries of her world seemed far away.
Leon’s gaze remained on her a moment longer before he spoke again, his voice gentle. “Yeah. It definitely is.”
Olivia glanced at him, noticing the way his eyes held a quiet understanding, as though he had known exactly what she needed. Her heart fluttered again, a feeling she couldn’t quite place stirring within her. “Thanks for bringing me here. It’s exactly what I needed.”
“Sure thing. We all need a little escape sometimes.”
They stood together in silence, gazing out over the town as the night stretched on. The only sounds were the rustle of the wind and the soft chirping of crickets. Olivia let the stillness settle over her, savoring the peacefulness of the moment.
There was something magical about the way the world felt quieter here, as if time itself had slowed, just for them.

Recipe for Happiness
Note: More fluffiness with Yves and Claire! @theocxcanonweek Fandom: Ikemen Prince Characters: Yves Kloss, Claire (OC/MC) Prompts: Brushing hair out of the others’ face and “I never imagined I could feel this way…” Words: 1,305
The kitchen was filled with the cozy warmth of the oven, and the sweet scent of vanilla and chocolate mingling in the air. A soft cloud of flour had settled across the countertops, dusting everything in a fine, white haze. Bits of batter were splattered here and there. Yves and Claire stood side by side, working together in a fluid rhythm they had perfected over countless mornings and quiet nights spent in each other’s company.
Yves glanced over at Claire, a small smile tugging at his lips. Her hair, pulled up into a loose ponytail, had started to fall free in small strands that framed her face. Her brow furrowed in concentration as she used a piping bag filled with whipped cream, carefully decorating the cake in front of them. Yves watched her for a moment, completely lost in the simple beauty of the scene. The way she was completely absorbed in the task at hand, the way her lips curved slightly as she focused, and the way she always seemed to make everything feel a little brighter just by being there.
It was one of those quiet moments that Yves treasured—the kind where no words were needed, yet everything felt so right. They had been together for quite a while now, but even after all the time they had spent side by side, the simplicity of moments like these still held a special place in his heart.
Without even thinking, he reached out, brushing the stray strands of hair that had fallen from Claire's ponytail out of her face. His fingers lingered there, gently grazing the soft skin of her cheek. She turned slightly, their eyes meeting, and the world seemed to slow down for a heartbeat. His touch was tender, affectionate, and their gazes locked. There was a quiet intimacy in that simple exchange—an unspoken bond that had deepened over time.
"Thank you." Claire softly said, her cheeks flushed red.
Yves smiled, his heart swelling at the sight of her—his heart always seemed to skip a beat when she looked at him like that. "You're welcome." Then, with a playful glint in his eye, he added, "You always manage to look beautiful, even with flour on your face."
A soft laugh escaped Claire’s lips. She swatted at Yves with her hand, a mock scowl on her face. "I’m covered in flour. How is that supposed to be beautiful?"
"I think it adds to the charm."
The playful banter between them simmered down into a comfortable silence, the kind that spoke volumes about their connection. But then, the corners of Claire's lips rose into a mischievous smile. She glanced at the bowl of extra whipped cream nearby. Before Yves could even register what was happening, Claire placed the piping bag down and reached for the bowl, a playful gleam in her eyes. In one swift motion, she smeared a dollop of whipped cream across his cheek.
Yves froze, blinking in disbelief as it slid down his skin. He stared at Claire, his mouth slightly agape, unsure whether to laugh or be offended.
Claire couldn’t contain herself any longer, her laughter bubbling out. "Oops." She said, her tone feigning innocence, though the playful smirk on her lips gave her away. "Guess that wasn’t supposed to happen."
Yves blinked at her for a moment longer, then wiped the cream off with his sleeve, muttering, "You’re always teasing me."
Still grinning from ear to ear, Claire raised an eyebrow. "Am I? I don’t know what you’re talking about."
Before she could say anything else, Yves swiped some cream from the bowl and smeared it across Claire’s cheek, catching her off guard. A surprised gasp escaped her, and she wiped at her cheek. "Yves! You—!"
She found herself laughing, thinking the whole situation was even more ridiculous. Yves, clearly enjoying the moment, was smiling widely, his eyes sparkling with the same joy that Claire felt bubbling inside of her.
"There. Now we’re even." Yves declared.
"Hehe. Indeed we are."
Yves's gaze held Claire's and there was something in his expression—a softness that made Claire’s heart flutter. His eyes, those deep pools of affection, held hers for a long moment, and in that look, Claire saw everything—the love that had grown between them, the tenderness of every moment shared, the understanding that existed between them. It was the kind of look that made her heart race, and her stomach do flips.
"Yves..." Claire began, her voice soft, unsure of how to express what she was feeling. She had never been able to fully explain it—how he made her feel in a way that went beyond love. It was a feeling deeper, more profound than anything she’d ever known, and she wasn’t sure how to put it into words.
Yves noticed the shift in her tone, his brow furrowing in concern. "What is it?"
Claire hesitated for a moment, glancing away, trying to find the right words. When she spoke, her voice was low, but steady. "I never imagined I could feel this way..." She admitted, her gaze dropping to her hands. "I always thought love was just... love. But with you, it’s different. When you’re near me, nothing else matters. Everything else fades away. I never thought I could feel something like this."
Yves’s heart swelled at her words, and he stepped forward, gently cupping her cheek. His thumb brushed the soft skin there, the tenderness of the gesture making Claire’s heart flutter. She closed her eyes at the touch, the sensation warm and comforting.
"I feel the same way." Yves answered quietly. "I’ve always felt like someone like me could never truly be accepted by anyone. But you... You accepted me. All of me. And now, you’re everything to me. I can’t imagine my life without you in it."
Claire's chest tightened at his words, a rush of warmth flooding through her. Yves was everything to her—her best friend, her confidant, her lover. With him, she had found something more than just romance; it was a connection that made her feel like she could conquer anything life threw her way.
A small laugh escaped her lips, breaking the quiet moment. "This is a strange place for a confession, don’t you think? We’re in the middle of decorating a cake."
Yves chuckled, his voice light and carefree. "I think it’s perfect. What better place to share a moment like this than while we’re making something sweet together?" He leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead, and the warmth of the gesture sent a shiver of affection through Claire.
She felt her knees go weak, the tenderness of the kiss and his words stirring something deep within her. "I want to keep doing this forever.”
Yves wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close. "So do I." He whispered, burying his face in her hair. "As long as you’re by my side, I don’t care what we’re doing. I’ll be happy."
Claire leaned back just enough to meet his eyes, her gaze soft and filled with affection. "I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy before."
Yves’s hand brushed a stray lock of hair from her face, his touch gentle and reverent, as if he were memorizing every little detail of her. "Then let’s make sure we keep it this way."
"Yeah."
And as they stood there, wrapped in each other’s arms, they both knew one thing for certain: whatever life had in store for them, they would face it together. Piece by piece, just as they were doing with the cake.
The cake would be decorated, the sun would set, and the world would continue its endless march forward. But for now, there was only this—this quiet, beautiful moment shared between two people who had found something truly special.
A love that was pure and sweet.

A Spark of Something More
Note: Here's my last Ikemen Prince OC with her suitor. I thought today's dialogue prompt fit them both. @theocxcanonweek Fandom: Ikemen Prince Characters: Leon Dompteur, Olivia (OC) Prompt: “Oooh. You’re so in love with me!” Words: 1,103
“Hm… I wonder if he’s here today?” Olivia murmured to herself, her eyes scanning the bustling streets as she walked through the town square.
She had managed to sneak out of the manor by climbing out her bedroom window, careful to avoid the guards posted by the gate. Her heart pounded faster as she passed the cobblestone streets, skirts brushing against her feet. Her eyes were trained on one thing, one person. Nothing else mattered at that moment.
Her mind raced with a mix of anticipation and curiosity. Olivia had learned to take risks, but there was always a part of her that hesitated. Her parents would be absolutely furious if they knew what she was doing again. Yet, it felt worth it. If she could just see the person she wanted to see for a little while, everything would be worth the risk.
She moved through the plaza, weaving between pedestrians and children playing in the streets. The sounds of laughter and conversation filled the air, but none of it caught her attention. Her eyes were fixed on a single figure across the street, standing with his back turned but unmistakably recognizable.
Leon.
A smile tugged at Olivia’s lips as soon as their eyes met. She wasted no time, breaking into a run, dodging the occasional pedestrian as she sprinted toward him.
“Leon!” She called out, her voice full of joy. She could feel her heart lift at the sight of him, that familiar spark of happiness igniting within her chest.
Leon turned, his gaze meeting hers instantly, a smile spreading across his face. “Hey. You’re here.”
"Of course! Why wouldn’t I be?" Olivia grinned back at him, breathless from her run. "I’m always up for another adventure."
Leon chuckled softly, turning around and glancing over his shoulder to look at her. “Same here. Well, then. Shall we?” He gestured toward the path that led out of the plaza, the bustling chatter fading into the background as they began to walk together.
Olivia matched his pace, feeling a familiar sense of ease settle over her. Whenever she was with Leon, the rest of the world felt far away. Despite his status as a prince, he never carried himself like one—at least not in moments like these.
“So, where are we headed?” She asked, smiling playfully.
Leon smirked. “I haven’t decided yet. But that’s the fun part, isn’t it?” He winked at her, making her heart flutter slightly. She always loved how unpredictable he was, how his mischievous grin seemed to promise adventure at every turn.
Olivia rolled her eyes, but the smile never left her face. “You’re impossible.”
“Me? Impossible? You’re the one who decided to sneak away and join me, remember?”
“I never said I wasn’t reckless.”
“Well, if you're so reckless, then you can handle whatever comes next, right?” Leon lightly nudged her shoulder as they continued down the street. “I might just take you to a few places where your lady-like reputation won’t be of much use.”
“I can handle whatever you throw at me.”
They continued walking, enjoying the simple pleasure of each other’s company. The bustle of the town faded into the background as they shared light conversation, their footsteps perfectly in sync. Eventually, they wandered into the market, and Olivia’s gaze was caught by a small stall full of trinkets and curiosities. She wandered over, curiously eyeing the items on display.
The stall was brimming with colorful, sparkling treasures—jeweled pendants, intricately carved figurines, and delicate rings. Olivia ran her fingers over some of the pieces, intrigued by their craftsmanship. It was a small, fleeting moment of joy, but one she treasured, especially with Leon beside her.
She picked up a tiny pendant in the shape of a star and held it up, the sunlight catching on the polished surface. “This is cute.” She mused, admiring the way it glimmered. “What do you think?”
Leon leaned in, eyeing the pendant with interest. He grinned mischievously, the same playful look that always seemed to follow him around. “I think it’s exactly your style. Very shiny and flashy.”
Olivia raised an eyebrow at him. “Is that how you see me? Shiny and flashy?”
“Well, you’ve got a certain sparkle about you. And not just from the trinkets.”
Leon’s gaze lingered on Olivia a moment longer than necessary, and a warm flutter spread through her chest. She turned away, placing the pendant back on the table to hide the slight blush on her face. As she glanced over her shoulder, a mischievous smirk tugged at her lips. “You’re so in love with me, aren’t you?”
The corners of Leon’s lips curled into a smirk. “What if I am?”
“What if you’re just messing with me?” Olivia inquired, her brow furrowed.
Leon’s smirk only deepened, clearly enjoying the effect his words were having on her. “Maybe I’m not. Maybe I really do like you. You’re different from any other noblewoman I’ve met. You’re brave, headstrong.” He paused for a moment, and Olivia felt her cheeks grow even warmer. “It’s hard not to be drawn to you.”
The words hit Olivia harder than she expected. Her mind raced, scrambling to find a response. She blinked and averted her gaze, trying to regain her composure. “I— Uh…”
With an abrupt turn, she stepped away from the stall, eager to escape the vulnerable feeling creeping up on her. “Come on! Let’s go!”
Leon raised an eyebrow, but he didn’t press her. Instead, he matched her pace, his smirk still playing on his lips. Olivia kept her gaze straight ahead, trying to ignore the heat in her chest, her heart still racing from the unexpected weight of his words.
They walked in silence, the tension between them palpable but unspoken. Olivia focused on the path ahead, but her mind was far from calm. Her heart thudded in her chest with every step, and she could feel Leon’s presence beside her, as steady and familiar as always. And yet, something had changed. She was caught between confusion and the undeniable pull of his words.
Was he truly serious, or was it all just another one of his playful teases?
She stared at him from the corner of her eye, only to find that his gaze was already fixed on her. There was something new in his eyes, a softness that made her heart beat faster. It wasn’t the usual playful glint she was so used to.
No, this was something else. Something deeper.
And she wasn’t sure if she was ready to name it yet, but she could feel it.
Something had definitely changed between them.

Gentle Whisper
Note: I wanted to write some hurt/comfort for today's prompt and Violet was the perfect OC to use for it. @theocxcanonweek Fandom: Ikemen Prince Characters: Gilbert von Obsidian, Violet (OC) Prompt: Intertwined Fingers Words: 1,127
Violet had been waiting for Gilbert to return from his late work, laying on the bed with a book on etiquette in her hands. Although she knew she wouldn’t be meeting any nobles, she was determined to learn how to conduct herself with grace. If she was to stay by Gilbert’s side, she wanted to be the kind of woman worthy of standing beside him.
As the minutes passed, her eyelids grew heavier. With a soft sigh, she set the book on the nightstand, closed her eyes, and drifted off to sleep.
The soft glow of the mounted lamps cast gentle shadows across the room as she slept soundly, her breathing slow and steady. The tranquility of the night enveloped her, offering a much-needed respite after the day’s quiet anticipation.
Meanwhile, in the hallway outside, Gilbert’s footsteps echoed faintly, signaling his return. The thought of seeing Violet, of returning to her embrace, had been the one thing that kept him going throughout the long, drawn-out hours of his work.
He reached for the door handle of his room, and with a gentle turn, the door creaked open. Immediately, his blood-red eye swept across the room, finding Violet. She lay there on the bed, peacefully unaware of his presence, her form silhouetted by the soft glow of the mounted lamps. She looked serene, vulnerable, and incredibly beautiful.
His gaze then shifted to the nightstand beside the bed, where the etiquette book rested, his lips curving in amusement. “Oh?”
Stepping closer, he picked up the book. The cover shimmered in the soft light as he read the title: The Art of Noble Grace: A Guide for the Aspiring Lady. A quiet laugh slipped from him, his gaze returning to Violet with affection. She had always been so determined, so earnest in everything she did.
And yet...
His smile faltered, replaced by a cold, unsettling thought.
Who was she trying to do this for? Did she want to make friends?
He certainly hoped not. But surely, by now, she must have known better.
Gilbert’s fingers tightened around the book, his gaze hardening as he stared at the title. A mix of frustration and protectiveness surged within him, and his pulse quickened. Violet was far too precious to be trying to fit into a world that didn’t deserve her. That book, that idea—it wasn’t her. It wasn’t who she was, not in the way he cherished her.
He understood what she was trying to do. She wanted to improve herself, to fit into a world she thought she needed to belong to in order to stay by his side. That made sense to him. But the thought of her changing for anyone, be it nobles, society, or anyone else, gnawed at him.
He wanted her to be herself. The girl who was kind yet fierce, shy yet determined. The girl who made him laugh and got embarrassed whenever he teased her. He didn’t want her to lose that, to bury it under a mask of refinement. He wanted her by his side, not as someone she thought she should be, but as who she truly was. That was the Violet he loved.
A soft sigh escaped him as he placed the book back on the nightstand with a quiet thud. He crossed the room to his desk, removing his cloak, jacket, and gloves, setting them aside before taking a seat. His fingers reached for the quill nestled in the ink pot, and he began to work on a page of the story he had been working on for months.
The story centered around a heroine inspired by Violet—a timid, compassionate woman struggling to survive in a harsh world that rejected her because of her birthplace and her connection to the enemy nation. Yet, despite the cruelty she faced, she pressed on with unwavering resolve.
As Gilbert continued to write, he heard the rustling of the sheets as Violet began to stir. He turned in his chair, a smile curling on his lips. “You’re awake, Miss Little Sheep.”
She rubbed her eyes, a pout forming on her lips, which he found utterly adorable. "Gil...?"
"Yep. It’s me."
"Welcome back."
“I’m back.” Gilbert neatly stacked the papers on his desk before rising to his feet and walking over to the bed, sitting down next to Violet, a smile tugging at his lips. "Did you miss me?"
Violet nodded sleepily, her expression soft. "Yes. I missed you a lot."
"Hehe. Probably not more than I missed you." Slipping his arms around her waist, Gilbert pulled her onto his lap. "What were you doing while I was gone?"
She nestled into him, the weight of her body relaxing against his chest. "I was reading a book."
"About what?"
A wave of anxiety rippled through Violet, and she nervously licked her lips. "Etiquette..."
“Why would you be reading something like that? Surely you weren’t planning on meeting other people, were you? You know how jealous I can be.”
“I know. But I wanted to do it for you. I want to be someone you can be proud of. I... I want you to still love me."
The smile on Gilbert’s face widened. "But I do. I’ll never stop loving you."
Violet's face softened at his words, the tension in her shoulders easing. "Really?"
"Of course.” Gilbert’s expression shifted, a tinge of sadness in his gaze. “Ouch. Are you really doubting me? After everything we’ve been through?”
“No... I’m sorry.”
Chuckling softly, Gilbert pulled her even closer and whispered, “I love you exactly the way you are. I told you before, didn't I? That I wanted you to stay you."
Violet nodded lightly, her gaze dropping. "Yes. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized I might be holding you back. That I... might be a burden.”
Gilbert pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "You’ll never be a burden to me. Not in a million years." His hand cupped her cheek, lifting her face so she could meet his gaze. With his other hand, he intertwined their fingers, holding the one that rested on the bed. "What matters is that you’re here with me, exactly as you are. I don’t need you to be anyone else. I need you to be my little sheep. My Violet."
"Really?" She asked, looking up at him with uncertainty.
"Yes. I wouldn't lie."
The warmth in Gilbert’s crimson eye melted the last of Violet’s doubts. She reached up with her free hand, her fingers brushing against his cheek. "I want to be by your side. Always."
Gilbert's smile deepened, and he raised their intertwined hands to his lips, kissing her fingers. "And you will be. I'll make sure of it. I’m never letting you go."

Rainy Afternoon Bliss
Note: Hello! In the past years, I've written for the @theocxcanonweek event on my main blog. But now that I've started this side blog for the OCs that I'm focusing on this year, I'll be sharing the prompts here. This year, I'll be writing for my Ikemen Prince OCs. Each of them will have a prompt dedicated to them and their suitor. Fandom: Ikemen Prince Characters: Yves Kloss, Claire (OC/MC) Prompt: Kiss in the Rain/Snow Words: 1,138
Yves and Claire stood beneath the overhang of a building, the heavy rain cascading down in sheets. Their afternoon had started as a wonderful date in town, but the sudden downpour had put an unexpected twist on their plans.
"Is it ever going to stop?" Yves sighed, a deep frown pulling at his features. He closed his eyes for a moment, then turned to Claire, his voice low and regretful. "I'm sorry, Claire. I wanted today to be perfect for you, but it feels like it’s all gone wrong. It must be my bad luck."
Claire looked at him, shaking her head, her smile gentle. "It’s okay. I don’t mind. The only thing that matters is that I’m with you."
A blush spread across Yves’s face. “Geez… You always say the cutest things.”
Claire’s eyes sparkled with wonder as she watched the rain blur the world around them. She took a step forward, her hand reaching out toward the deluge. The cool droplets misted the air as she extended her fingers, as though she could somehow capture the storm itself.
"Claire." Yves warned, his tone low but laced with concern. "Don’t—"
However, it was already too late. Claire’s hand stretched further, and the rain splashed against her palm, soaking her arm instantly. The cold water hit her skin, sending a quick shiver down her spine. But instead of recoiling, she smiled, clearly reveling in the sensation.
Yves’s concern deepened. "I told you not to do that. Remember the last time it rained like this? We both ended up sick."
"I know." Claire replied, her grin widening as she looked at her damp fingers. "But it feels kind of nice."
Yves’s expression softened, though a trace of worry still lingered in his eyes. "You’re going to get sick. You can’t just—"
“I’m fine. Really.”
Yves, however, wasn’t quite convinced. He gently grasped her arm, pulling it out of the rain and wiping it with the sleeve of his jacket. "Your dress is going to get soaked if you keep doing that."
“I don’t mind.”
“Well, I do. I care about you, and I don’t want you to get a cold.”
Claire’s heart warmed at his sincerity. The concern in his eyes was so raw and genuine, it always made her feel cherished. She reached up and placed her hand gently on his cheek, her thumb brushing across the softness of his skin. "I promise I’m fine. But if it really bothers you, I’ll stop."
The two of them stood in silence for a while, watching as the rain continued to pour. Yves was about to speak when Claire suddenly stepped out from their shelter, turning her face up toward the sky. She spread her arms wide, letting the rain pour over her, soaking her hair, her dress, and her shoes. A carefree laugh bubbled from her chest, as free and spontaneous as the storm itself.
Yves stared at her, eyes wide with disbelief. "Claire! What are you doing?!"
"What does it look like?" She giggled, twirling in the rain, her movements graceful and unburdened. Her laughter rang out, bright and pure, filling the quiet street. "I read a scene like this in a book once and wanted to try it! Come on, Yves! You can’t just stand there. You should join me!"
"Claire, I’m serious. You’re going to get sick— Ugh. Never mind. You’re not going to listen to me no matter what I say."
Claire turned toward Yves, still laughing as her arms spread wide. "But you still love me anyway, right?"
"Yes. I do." Yves answered simply, the words coming easily, full of warmth.
Claire's heart fluttered at his honest response. She took a step closer, still twirling in the rain, her laughter mixing with the rhythm of the downpour. "Hurry! It’ll be fun!"
Yves hesitated, his mind running through all the reasons he shouldn’t—his shoes would get soaked, he might catch a cold, he would end up drenched and miserable. But as he looked at Claire, her eyes alight with joy, her carefree spirit so infectious, he found himself giving in. He sighed deeply, and with a small but resigned smile, he muttered, "All right. But if we end up sick again, I’m blaming you."
Claire grinned. "Of course. I’ll take full responsibility."
She grabbed Yves's arm and tugged him into the rain. He stumbled slightly as she pulled him forward, his shoes slipping on the slick pavement. He muttered something about not being made for this kind of madness, but Claire only laughed, her eyes shining. The rain began to soak them both as they stepped further into the storm. Yves was cautious at first, but as Claire danced freely in the downpour, he found himself relaxing, allowing the rain to cascade over him as well. He pulled her closer, and together, they danced, their movements in sync with the rhythm of the storm.
As she spun in Yves’s arms, Claire closed her eyes, feeling the rain wash over her face. "It feels really good, doesn’t it?"
Yves smiled despite himself, his gaze fixed on her. "You’re insane."
"No, I’m not." Claire said, her tone teasing but tender as she looked up at him. "I’m just living in the moment."
For a few minutes, they stood there, the world seemingly pausing around them. The rain poured down, creating a tranquil symphony of sound. The only things that existed in that moment were the storm and the two of them—together, sharing a quiet kind of bliss.
Yves gently released Claire’s hand and placed it on the small of her back, holding her close. His voice grew serious, filled with emotion. "Claire… I don’t ever want you to stop being like this."
She tilted her head in confusion. "Don't stop being what?"
"Don't stop being so wild, so carefree, so… beautiful. I don’t know how to explain it, but when I’m with you, especially like this, I feel alive. More than I ever have before."
Claire’s heart skipped a beat, and she wrapped her arms around Yve's neck. "I’m glad I’m with you too."
The space between them closed, and they kissed, their lips meeting tenderly at first, the rain pouring around them as though the world was holding its breath. It was a moment of pure connection—a promise shared in the midst of the storm.
When they finally pulled apart, Claire smiled, her face flushed with happiness. "See? It was worth it."
Yves chuckled with a soft expression, shaking his head. "You’re so silly, Claire."
She giggled, her laughter light and carefree. She leaned in, and their lips met once more, sealing their quiet promise amidst the pouring rain.
The storm may have soaked them to the bone, but in that moment, they were more than happy to be drenched, as long as they were together.
