Friendly reminder that you do NOT need to consume or even enjoy Unus Annus if it makes you uncomfy.

I know that people want to support Mark and Ethan. I know that people want to watch everything that they put out because that's what you habitually do as a fan.

But you aren't hurting Mark or Ethan by not watching. And you're not doing yourself any favors by forcing yourself to watch something if it makes you uncomfy. They don't get ad sense from unus annus, and this truly seems like something they are doing purely for fun and the experience. That's why its temporary, and why this channel is doomed with or without support.

And that is also why Mark and Ethan are still pumping out their normal content on their usual channels. Unus annus is for the gremlins who have accepted this chaotic, flaming gift, while their main channels remain a safe haven for solid, non boundary crossing content.

So take care of your mental health. You are human. Dont consume things that scare you, or make you nervous, or that make you uncomfy. And you can do that while simultaneously accepting that Mark and Ethan are human, and that the freedom of making whatever fuckery of content they want is super exhilterating. Of course I can only speculate; I could be 100% wrong about all of this. But this is the vibe I get.

So to those of us that enjoy it: let's make those dank memes. Scream together, and cringe in the best way possible.

And to those that dont enjoy it: Enjoy watching a percentage of the fandom go up in screeching flames, and have fun with Mark and Ethan's usual content, and dont let anyone bully or dare you into watching unus annus if you dont want to.

Host writes and Yancy sings, what a wonderful combo.

Yancy sings in the mornings, and Host usually wakes up to it. Host loves how gentle Yancy’s voice can be.

Yancy is definitely the more affectionate one of the pair. He doesn’t want to push Host’s boundaries so it’s causal hand holding and forehead kisses.

We all think Host is completely composed but u see earth he’s absolutely a brew of nervousness and full of love for Yancy. If Yancy steals a kiss, Host will stay still in surprise.

Host knows when Yancy gets frustrated and before it happens, he always wiggles his hand into Yancy’s.

Okay so like Yancy ADORES how Host speaks in third person; he finds it makes him 3x cuter. He never mentions it to Host, even if the Host already knows.

Yancy is always curious about Host’s eyes, but never brings it up. The past is never to be trifled with—that he can understand.

You would assume Yancy to be the scarier of the two, since he’s gone to prison, but, really it’s Host. See the “ruff-and-tough character A but silent, more menancing character B stands behind them” trope.
