@elucienweekofficial Day Four — New Beginnings

The realm of possibilities—the sheer potential—that exists between Elain Archeron and Lucien Vanserra is as captivating as it is endless. Their story began in unfavorable conditions, but each page continues to be handwritten by either of them, each line carefully constructed to portray the entire story. Their beginnings, middles, and endings are interwoven by a golden thread of connection between their souls; their hearts.

Where will their story take them next? The tulips fields of the mortal lands? To unnamed lands within Prythian? To different courts with different meanings for different characters? To the Archeron family home, nestled near the Wall? To other worlds outside of their reality? To a middle land that calls for a High King and High Queen? Only time will tell. That being said, the current open-ended narrative arcs situated between them, but also around them, allows for such intriguing theories and head canons. Never once have I doubted that their story intertwines in such a way that relies on the other, but also allows room for personal growth and healing.

@kt-reads-things , @lulufoxlainfawn, and I wanted to start off Elucien Week with a little angst, reversing Lucien trying to sense what was amiss with Elain in ACOWAR with Elain now at Lucien’s side, nursing him through an injury. Feyre is here supporting her sister off page, with a little less meddling this time. Elain and Lucien’s journey has been a long one, and we foresee a bit more angst in their future before they eventually have their well-earned Happy Ever After.

@norabraveseeker and I came across a pin that SJM had saved that must have reminded her of Elain and Lucien. It’s called Masked Stranger and the Rose Maiden by Kippery on deviantart. We wanted to create our own version and we are so excited to have amarnouille work on this for us. Amarna did such a wonderful job creating our vision and was such a gem to work with.
