Bowden Print Group... Major Partner of Feast Festival

Bowden Print Group are proud to be a Major Partner of Feast Festival for 2021. Feast is Adelaide’s only not-for-profit LGBTIQ+ Queer Arts and Cultural Festival that celebrates Pride and Diversity. Feast began in 1997 providing a safe and inclusive platform for the LGBTIQ+ community to share and express themselves through art and culture. Feast held their launch today in the South Australian Museum. General Manager Helen Sheldon and her team did a fantastic job for this years launch... Cannot wait until the festival starts in November.

Job of the Week: Festival of Music 2021 Stars in the Arena

South Australia's Festival of Music celebrates its 130th year, and the Bowden Print Group are extremely proud to have been part of their journey this year. The Primary Schools Music Festival is a South Australian State Heritage Icon under the direction of the South Australian Public Primary Schools Music Society and the Department of Education. As custodians of this unique South Australian tradition, they engage their students in artistic excellence, cultural diversity and social inclusion through performance in Music and the Arts. From Bowden's perspective, this was very much a team effort. Working closely with the Festival of Music, Blend Creative, a Socially Inclusive Design agency, and key stakeholders, we were able to provide a total solution from design through to print through to delivery. And it went further with our Community Relationships Manager, Ramona Reynolds-Smith volunteering her time throughout the week of the festival. Job of the Week: ECH Magazine Display Stand

This week's winner is ECH and what was definitely a unique product to produce... a fully branded magazine display stand. Our Print Display service allows us to print on many different substrates. This magazine display stand has been designed to a specific die-line, printed directly to fluted board, scored and cut for easy assembly. Job of the Week: Travis Boak 'Heads'

How could this not be Job of the Week! These are brilliant! Travis Boak celebrated his 300th game recently, and Port Adelaide Football Club (PAFC) had these large pro-cut heads made up for his milestone game. Regrettably, due to the COVID restrictions, the game was moved to Melbourne, and the local celebrations were a little delayed... but this week they returned... and what a week to celebrate Showdown 50. The cheer squad had these heads 'bobbling' around with each goal PAFC scored as they went on to win Showdown 50 by 4 points... What a game! Job of the Week: Clean Life Australia Hygiene Stations

Congratulations to Clean Life Australia for our featured Job of the Week. Clean Life Australia provides hygiene product solutions that are Australian made, offering reliable supply and quality reassurance for everyday needs in the home, community and business. Clean Life Australia recently provided Foodland Supermarkets Australia and Drakes Supermarkets with the featured hygiene stations. Designed by Clean Life Australia, they needed to ensure the branding and information was 'clean and clear'. Their hygiene stations are wrapped in a 5-year matt plasticote, printed with light-fast inks. Easy to self install, the team from Clean Life Australia could not be happier with the final product.... and with all the recent COVID restrictions, a product that keeps us a little safer is a definite winner. Culture and Diversity: Transgender Visibility

As part of Bowden Print Group's B-Sustainable Initiative, the education of culture and diversity in the workplace is a significant focus. As a socially conscious organisation committed to diversity and inclusion, Bowden Print Group are proud to implement training sessions with all staff. It was a pleasure to have Gail Claremont Goulet and Lisette Claremont Goulet from TLLPC (Transgender Lipstick Lesbian Power Couple) presenting our first session on Transgender Visibility. The TLLPC was founded in 2017 and Incorporated in 2020 and registered as a Human Rights Organisation. The TLLPC is a Certified Training Provider and gives presentations to SMEs, sporting organisations and social groups. Gail and Lisette gave an excellent presentation... and the Q&A session at the conclusion provided a perfect opportunity to understand better the LGBTIQ+ segment. It was great to see all staff actively involved. Through Corporate Social Responsibility, we all have a role to play when it comes to diversity and inclusion, and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and support connections throughout the Rainbow Community. Team Bowden very much thank Gail and Lisette for their insightful presentation and we look forward to working with them again on further B-Sustainable Initiatives. Knowledge is power!

Job of the Week: Blend Creative Corporate Profile

Our winner this week for Job of the Week goes to Blend Creative and their recently produced Corporate Profile Blend Creative is a multi-service graphic design studio providing real work opportunities to designers with disability since 1990. Monique and her team produce some fantastic work that goes well beyond the design. Blend Creative has developed and trademarked the Socially Inclusive Design logo. The logo is for use exclusively by their clients, allowing them to immediately identify to their audience and stakeholders that their organisation supports social inclusion in the workplace. Their corporate profile has been printed full colour on Knight Smooth, 340gsm cover and 140gsm text... a perfect choice. A chance to Learn, Share, and Perform this winter and discover your inner muse. Running from the 3rd July until the 2nd September, Winter Words showcases 17 events for all ages. Who can resist visiting the Adelaide Hills on a chilly afternoon... tasting the local produce... some beautiful wines... not me!!! Job of the Week: AULSS Hilarian Magzine

Congratulations to the students of the Adelaide University Law Student Society on the publication of The Hilarian, an entirely law student-run satirical magazine, as our winners for Job of the Week. The 'legal minds' of the Adelaide University students have started to produce this 'zine' as they are now called for students studying law. What I admire about this is everyone can have a great idea to publish a magazine... the big challenge is to 'get it done'... and keep it going. Well done to Will Broderick, Olivia Edmonds, Jenny Surim and their committee to edit, print and publish this magazine.

Family Business Australia Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Gerard McCabe who was inducted into the Family Business Australia Hall of Fame. Bowden Print Group have been longstanding members of the FBA and with 2020 challenging all businesses the positive stories that came out on the day provided some great positivity for the future. A number of great SA businesses also provided some insights into how their family business operates and business structure. Job of the Week: Nicolle Flint MP Newsletter

Our Job of the Week goes to Nicolle Flint MP and her recent Anzac Day Newsletter which was distributed just prior to Anzac Day. This newsletter was printed in full colour on uncoated stock, folded to 8pp then 'crash folded' to DL. Distributed to all residents of Boothby, this commemorative Anzac Day Newsletter depicted stories and history of the Anzac's from the Australian War Memorial. This newsletter certainly provides time to reflect and remember... lest we forget.

Showcase SA Industry Showcase Expo

A big congratulations to Showcase SA for their recent expo held on 28th April 2021 at the Ridley Centre, Adelaide Showgrounds. It was a fantastic event, and Bowden Print Group were very thankful for the opportunity to be involved with this great event. With nearly 40 exhibitors on display, presenting and informing all attendees of their products, services and solutions, this was a great opportunity to network. Our winner this week for Job of the Week goes to the APY Art Centre Collective and their latest promotional booklet for the Sally Scales and Josephine Mick Collaboration Exhibition.
