“A party was just a suggestion, but shopping works. Just give yourself a break and have some fun! You look like you’ve been working really hard, Nishizawa, I don’t want you burning yourself out.”

She gave her a surprisingly gentle smile for her usually-rough features. “Let me know when you’re free and we’ll hit the nearest mall, alright?”

          “ I’m…always free. ”

Admittance to one’s flaws never helped a situation unless they intended to act upon it; though this was a lie to cast unto the other, she felt that delaying the inevitable would leave her alone forever. Even if she felt that inclination toward returning to her work creeping up the back of her neck, the process of dying before she graduated didn’t settle right with her; she was a teenager just like everyone else here, right? She deserved to break sometimes…if she fell under too much pressure, she’d just s n a p like a twig.

          “ Just…any time is fine with me, and I could really go for                something really cheesy—as in a really cute shopping                montage or…some really terrible food. “

She playfully nudged her side. “I’m sayin’ you gotta live a little. Take a break. Have some fun. Go to a party. Taking a break from school for a day isn’t going to destroy the future, you know.”

She glances downward, a hand ghosting over her side to rub at the area the elbow bashed. Despite only minimal wince-worthy aggravation, she still knit her brows in disdain before shifting her gaze back. Mentioning a party like it was a common occurrence, the pinkette could only wonder what kind of lifestyle the other participated in.

             “ You want me to go to a party…? I’m not sure I know anyone who                throws those kinds of things, Ikuta-San; in fact, I…I’m pretty                sure that no student here would throw a party for something any                time soon—unless you mean a festival. I…could go shopping,                though… ”
