i usually use 🦌🐰 for clauderan but i was thinking of other alternatives ^^ i think 🏹🎀 (bow because hes an archer, and a ribbon also bow lololol hence my url ‘bowsandarrow’! because my s/i has ribbons in her design) and 💛💖 suit them well~

theres something about academy!clauderan that im so fond of.. maybe its bc im a burnt out college student but the fact that my lore compliant au allows me to also project my current situations onto it makes me feel so giddy

i am curious!!! for self shippers with f/os from previous time periods: how closely do you adhere to that time period when it comes to your ship with them? do you only put time accurate songs on your playlists, do you only imagine watching time accurate movies? do you make fake texts even if texting wasn't around? do you give them knowledge even if they wouldn’t have had it back then? i wanna know!!!

imagine : your f/o comforting you after a nightmare !

your eyes snap open with a sudden start, your breath hitching in your throat as you’re forcefully jolted from sleep. a bad dream, you think. hm. no matter the frequency of your nightmares, the feeling is still so jarring; waking up in a blind panic, your blood rushing icy in your veins as you tremble in the dark…not fun. you sit up in the bed, pupils darting around the room as you try to process your surroundings. you’re so unsettled and dazed that you barely register the sound of sheets rustling besides you.

“mm… hey…” your f/o murmurs hoarsely, stirred by your movements. they blink awake lazily before gazing up at you, and although their eyes are unfocused and glazed over with sleep, they still brim with sincere concern. “...are you okay?”

 “mhm,” you nod softly, your hands still shaking a little as you try to calm yourself down. the familiarity of your darling’s presence grounds you in reality, and you feel your nerves ease ever-so-slightly. you take in a deep breath, wanting to reassure them. “just a nightmare. sorry…”

“ah,” your f/o hums in their sleepy voice, dismissing your apology. you’re never a bother to them. “c’mere”, they request, outstretching their arms languidly. your beloved looks so soft and sweet under the moonlight, instinctually jumping to your aid even when they’re too groggy to tell what’s happening, and you oblige gratefully. you can’t help but find comfort in their arms as they wrap them around you, your breathing and heart rate finally slowing to a normal pace. 

your f/o pulls you toward them gently, cradling your body against theirs and allowing you to nuzzle your face in the crook of their neck. you inhale shakily before relaxing against them, their scent soothing you.

 “shh, that’s it,” they encourage, their fingers caressing your back in a reassuring rhythm; tracing over your shoulder blades and ghosting against your skin. they press a soft kiss on the top of your head, feeling your tension ease up as you cling to them, your arms wrapping around their waist. “it’s okay, i’ve got you. you’re safe, i’m right here.” your f/o is full of affection for you, no matter the late hour. 

as they continue their whispered endearments, their loving tone quells your anxiety fully, and it’s not long before you fall back asleep, snoozing peacefully in their tight embrace. your beloved smiles fondly at your resting form before shutting their eyes as well, content to doze off now that they know you’re alright. they may not be able to fix all of your troubles for you (much to their dismay), but you know that your darling will always be right by your side to help you through them.

was talking to corin earlier about our selfships (as usual) and i assigned them and dimitri a romance animanga couple.. mitsumi and shima from skip to loafer mainly because dimitri reminds me of a big sopping wet dog but then it lead us to the conversation of what couple claude and i would be and man. im stumped because i genuinely cant think of any romance couples for us LOL
