This with a private investigator that got caught up in a paranormal involved case a few years back doesn’t remember everything that happened when she found the group of women she’d been tasked to find. All she knows is that when she woke up, they were gone, shadows of their forms seemingly charred into the ground.

After a short visit at a hospital to ensure she was okay, the nurses laugh her away, saying she looks perfect. Literally perfect.

This had been shrugged off for years by her, how she never seemed to gain wrinkles or gray in her hair despite how stressful her job is. Her skin staying as smooth and hydrated as it had seven years ago.

But now? Now that she had felt the bullet pierce her flesh and leave her body. Feel her heart stopping for that one brutal second, and being in too much pain to even move or cry out once as she was buried in a crude grave.

The suspect she had been following had certainly caught onto her presence. Lucky her, he had been stupid enough to have taken off his mask and reveal his identity to her.

Sadly, one cannot report their own murder, so she will just have to find him again now that she’s back and can feel her heart beating in her chest again. Hopefully before he realizes she’s the same woman he’s already killed.

Due to a bizarre mix of impossible events, you gain complete immortality. Only thing is that you have no idea you’re immortal.
