I am unable to describe exactly what is the matter with me; now and then there are horrible fits of anxiety, apparently without cause, or otherwise a feeling of emptiness and fatigue in the head.

Body Positive / Self Love / Recovery / Health Blogs
I used to have a “body positive blogs” list that somehow got lost/deleted. Since then, quite a few people have asked me to recommend blogs that are similar to my own that they can follow.Â
I follow almost 800 blogs, so I was really daunted at the task of going through them, one by one, and recommending the ones that I thought were dedicated to body positivity/self love/recovery/health/etc.
Since I am sick, I thought it was the perfect time to tackle this project!Â
To create this list, I searched through the list of all of the blogs that I am following and clicked on the URLs that sounded body positive. Then, I looked at the first page of their blog before deciding whether to put them on my list or not. Since there are so many, I did not click through multiple pages of their blog before adding them to this list. If you think I’m recommending someone by mistake, let me know. And, by all means, let me know which blogs I should add to the list, since I’m sure I missed some!!Â
WARNING: Many of these (especially those under the Body Positivity heading) are NSFW.
These are in no particular order - click them all and see which ones you like!

I’m jealous of those who can function like a normal human being. They don’t have anxiety holding them back from everything, they don’t struggle to get out of bed or have to put on an act that everything is fine when its not. They don’t struggle to hold friendships and relationships… they don’t feel sad for no fucking reason everyday. Those that can hold jobs and work towards their dreams, the ones who have self esteem and see the beauty in themselves. Those that know what its like to feel safe and secure, not insecure and fearful of it all.Â

Ways to deal with anxiety or panic/anxiety attacks a guide by yours truly, Kleo
Breathing
This may sounds weird but proper breathing can be super helpful. Sometimes we aren't breathing the way we are supposed to due to anxiety.
you can focus on whichever gif feels right for you :)
2. The grounding method
This is what usually helps with panic attacks but can also help with anxiety attacks :)
take a deep breath and look around the place you're in.
Then either write, say it aloud or just in your head
5 things you can see
4 things you can feel/touch
3 things you can hear
2 things you can smell
1 thing you can taste
It helps distract your brain but if it doesn't work try playing a game or talk with your friends/family
3. Safe place (it would help if you had someone read it to you the 1st time or put it on google translate and it can say it to you)
If you're home lay down on your bed, if you're somewhere else sit comfortably on chair and close your eyes. Imagine you're not here anymore, you're somewhere where you feel safe and secure. What do you see? There are animals around, they love you and they care about you, you mean a lot to them. What kind of animals are around? There is a form of water there. What form is it? You're at peace there, nothing can hurt you. You feel happier. Someone says hello. Who is it? The wind is calming and sweet. Your favourite smell lingers in the air and you know that you will be okay. Stay there as long as you need.
<3
I hope this helps :) drink water and stay safe everyone ily<33

Hacks for executive dysfunction
Executive dysfunction is common in those suffering from mental illnesses. It makes it super difficult to do anything - not just being organized, but also time management, concentration, regulating emotion, etc. It is ass. It's just straight up ass.
Here's some things I've come up with that help me function day to day.
Dry erase boards - I have three. One for my work schedule, one for my calender days/appts, and one for my tasks, which has a reminder for me to set my alarms. Every night I walk up to my wall board, cross of the day on my schedule & calender and set my alarms for the next day. Every morning I write down the **most important** tasks for the day, add them to my phone to carry with me, and check my schedule & calender. On my calender, when I reach my schedule check day each week, I erase the previous schedule on my work board and write down the new one before I forget.
Alarms - I have a bunch. Two to wake me up, because I'm dead as fuck in the mornings. One that tells me when it's time to get ready for work. One to take my meds at night & start my bedtime routine. I try to make it a point to start doing whatever I'm supposed to be doing WHEN the alarm goes off.
Routines - god, they are SO IMPORTANT with any kind of mental illness. They provide stability. I have a morning & night routine. They are all 4-5 easy steps. Every morning I wake up, look at my phone 10 minutes to wake myself up, make my bed, eat breakfast & watch my favorite news shows, get ready, and check my erase boards. Every night I take my meds, look at my boards, take a bath and listen to lofi radio, read for 30 minutes (optional), and go to sleep.
Showing up to work early - I hate this but I have to. I struggle so much that I set an alarm to get ready for work 2 hours before I clock in. I usually get there an hour early, and I chill in the breakroom until my timer goes off to clock in. The hour to relax in my work environment is very fucking important. This routine also ensures that I never lose track of time or just forget when I'm supposed to leave entirely - a thing that has literally fucking happened. Executive dysfunction y'all.
Apps - there are so!!! many!!!! cool apps that can help you do things like meal plan, get tasks done, monitor your symptoms, follow your routines, calm down & relax, etc etc. My smartphone is my compass. It assists in my functioning. I'm gonna do a whole ass post on this too bc I love it so damn much.
Sleep - YOUR MENTAL ILLNESS WILL WORSEN WITHOUT THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF SLEEP. Executive dysfunction is HELL without sleep. I have improved DRAMATICALLY with 8 hrs a night. It's probably how I was able to figure the rest of this shit out in the first place. Seriously, sleep kids.
Notebook of instructions - I have a little self care notebook where I write a step by step guide for things like cleaning my room, etc. I have to look at it repeatedly when cleaning. I cannot clean without it. It's incredibly helpful.
I have to clock in, but this is just a little tidbit of what works for me and I hope this helps someone else.

It is okay to cut contact with anyone.
You do not have to endure someone pushing your boundaries, hurting you, gaslighting you, or any other harmful behavior.
