This may be the worst use of LLMs anyone has attempted, ever. Up there with recognizing mushrooms.

#Cure 1997 and midsommar#so it would probably be alright#would absolutely have banger visuals and incredible sound scape#but I don't think it would be anywhere near as atmospheric as cure is on its own#Midsommar's plot structure is too straight forward and violence too over the top to match it#anyway if you haven't seen cure you should

Personally I hate AI because it uses slave labor, is killing the planet and is making people stupid, but that's just me. The soulless art aspect is just one little piece of my grander disdain.

pigeons are almost as good as humans at pattern recognition, probably better for purely visual patterns <3

Not really what the post is about but when else do i get to mention the actual, functional library of babel that exists on the internet and see what monkeys on type writers look like
I have a deeply-felt intuition that a zillion monkeys on a zillion typewriters would never produce the complete works of Shakespeare, even with a zillion years to do so. An intuition that the likelihood of this happening is not 1/n with n being some absurdly large integer, it’s just 0. Not “effectively zero”, it’s in fact exactly zero.
#I know I'm missing the point#but this idea ties into mathematical theory and definitions of infinity and i'm very normal about those things#in the original idea there are either *infinite* monkeys or *infinite* time#infinity in mathematics is conceptually really different to just *big number*#its a more absurd take on the library of babel which was written in part to explore the idea of infinity#(of course you can calculate quite easily how many different combinations of the 26 letters there are provided you restrict#it to the length of the complete works of Shakespeare then you could calculate how many monkies it would take to do this#before the universe tears itself apart and you'll have your shakespeare somewhere in there#and much like the library of babel its just as likely you'll find the perfectly complete works of shakespeare#but Juliet is named Daniel)#(And it will probably take another universe's length of time to find either)
