HEY I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE JA'SIAN-TORS. LIKE I MADE A CHARACTER WITHIN 2 mINUTES OF SEEING THE REF. The ref mentioned that they couldn't verbalize human language but could they possibly verbalize other languages such as those used eliksni, cabal, or hive?

when it comes to how they speak and communicate, they simply don’t have the vocal chord structure to make up proper human speech. But, they can mimic what they hear, like Ruxiz does. It’s similar to how a Crow or a Parrot may repeat phrases, but on their own, they can’t learn spoken languages.

But they do make really good at keeping memos.

They communicate through ‘songs’, low raspy clicks and chittering are usually how they speak, shrill screams, warbling, snarling, etc. Sentences and paragraphs can come out musical-sounding, or more like a roar depending on the tone.

It’s a language that could possibly be translated roughly to english, and vice versa. And I think the same could be said for the other factions languages, i’ll have to look up some of the voice lines for Eliksni, Cabal, and Hive again to be sure.

They can, however, learn writing. They have their own written language in the form of pictographs, and so they can learn how to write in english to communicate if learning how to speak their tongue isn’t an option, given humans can’t quite make the sounds required for their language either.

Ja'sian-tors or, as the Guardians say. 'Sharp Iguanas'

From the many pages of Osiris' half-strung together notes on Rui D. Loi comes from the speculative discovery of a new species, Ja'sian-tors. Or, Jasians, for ease of pronunciation. (Guardians have devolved to 'Sharp iguanas'.)

Their initial contact with Humanity came from a wayward capsule containing several eggs that entered the Sol System right at the end of The Golden Age, in the collision between Light and Dark, the capsule was consume, isolating the evidence of these beings to awoken bloodlines.

It wasn't until later, when distress signals led Guardians to a presumed asteroid, were they uncovered.

I actually started this a long time ago, but between a creative slump, artblock, and doubting my designs I didn't finish it until now. Given that it's already fairly old at this point, future artwork I make may change how they look, but given they already have alot of physical diversity I don't believe It'll be much of an issue.

These are my little alien guys! Relatively peaceful creatures on the brink of their own extinction, I sadly do not have a timeline for their arrival, but I'm sure I'll come up with more lore for them eventually.

Feel free to make your own if they interest you! I'd be happy to share more lore or facts about these guys, I don't really believe in closed species, especially as they belong in the Destiny 2 Universe.
