Sequence made based on a short story i wrote. The story has a very dark storyline that contrasts heavily with the eclectic, stylish way the character carries herself.

A zine i made during the first so called "lockdown" of the Netherlands, in early march. Using the events happening in my own life, and the world at the time, i began drawing as a way to deal with the stress that came with all the changes in my life.
Because i did not want to portray the events in a way that would directly represent the pandemic in the litereral way, i shifted towards using fantasy and my imagination. As a result, i made this zine about a virus attacking a world full of fantastic, colorfull, crazy beings.
A lot of the inspiration for the layouts of the zine came from old manuscrips like the "voynich manuscript" and the diary of colonisers of the past.

Silkscreen print, the idea for this print came to me when i visited the old part of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I came across some hookah lounges, and saw woman secretly smoking hookah, which they are not allowed to do in that part of Bangladesh. I gave the woman in this print the freedom to make her own choices.

A series of cards i made inspired by the letter M. The letter M has a lot of meanings in the esotherical and religious spheres and i took inspiration from the fact that all theories and meanings of the letter seem to derive from Jesus's mother, Mary.
I made the cards using a combination of techniques. I started collaging images, which i printed on a plastic sheet, before cyanotyping them.
