CGI Influencers to take over the market soon!

CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) have been appearing more frequently since 2016, CGI influencers are almost exclusively models, with their online presences resembling what you’d expect from fashion influencer.                       Influencer market is huge, according InfluencerDB 5 billion was spent on Instagram influencer marketing in 2018. The report estimated that 39% of all of Instagram's accounts are run by influencers. Considering there are over a billion active users on the platform, that's a lot of influencers to compete with. So it makes sense that with the rise in both quality and accessibility of CGI Influencer marketing can been taken to the next level.                         Miquela is the most prominent character in CGI she is described in her Instagram bio as a "musician, change-seeker, and robot with the drip." But she was pictured hanging out with actual people in the real world and even seems to be "dating" a man, it does raise the question of why anyone would take her opinion for what clothes to wear or which restaurants to visit. By this I mean that influencers are busy people who don't necessarily have a business or marketing background and like all normal humans, influencers are bound to make mistakes with that in mind, I'm not surprised when brands are choosing to go down the CGI influencer route, "It eliminates most human errors and allows you to be more direct with expectations and have more control over the campaign."
