“Slow down! I have short legs.”

                  “ Right ! sorry! ” The soldier stopped and waited for the girl to catch up, he was just walking wasn't he? Indeed he was but he had forgotten the huge height difference ,of course he'd be faster than her with this long legs. At the thought he couldn't help but to chuckle a little, Aerith was even pouting when she reached him “ Oh come on I'm sorry ” he held back a laugh

             “ You just can't stay still,can you? ”the soldier chuckled in response ,shaking his head a bit before making his way back to the flower girl.he was supposed to be chasing after that cat on his own because he knew how slow Aerith can be ( The girl was so delicate ,it seems like she would just slip and fall,and the last thing he wanted is her ending up being hurt )

              Still,he apparently forgot the fact that she was stubborn, and there she went following after him,it was hard for her to keep up with the enhanced soldier, of course she's going to whine. “ Hold on tight ” Zack said and without warning swept her off her feet,carrying her as he continued on running

    It was nice to have the chance to join a mission with someone he considers as a friend, ever since Angeal died it had been rough for him to cope. However missions kept him busy as well as training the new recruits like cloud,and even with the huge difference between them in ranks Zack didn't think of it as a problem at all he was as friendly and cheerful as he usually is with people ranks meant nothing to him 

    “Too long" he replied "I was very young when I joined..about fifteen or sixteen I guess now I'm twenty three,but hey it was worth it I'm first class now!" He chuckled a bit

          the brisk cold air is refreshing on his face and the long walk is invigorating, and what’s more, he gets to work with his idol– Zack Fair. not that he’d mention it to anyone, he would never hear the end of it. but he’d been impressed by the man, and would be lying if he said he didn’t have a slight thrill at being on a mission with him. after all, getting into SOLDIER was pretty much Cloud’s dream. anyone who spent a minute near Cloud knew that.

               “hey, so how long have you been in SOLDIER, anyway?” he asks.

    “No cloud we always do what I want,your opinion matters too don't forget that!" He said in a firm tone, he didn't like it when he shuts himself like that maybe with a little more encouragement from him he'd open up as he hoped,but he didn't hang out with him just to help it was nice to have friend like him he had to admit  

    "Never mind" he couldn't help but to chuckle for seeing him so nervous, maybe it was a bit stressing to hang out with a higher rank soldier but that never really mattered to someone like Zack "loosen up,it's not like I'm gonna bait I'm not like the other soldiers you know that...Angeal says that's not a good thing I don't know what he means by that" he chuckled a bit 

    “Its settled,let's get going then!" He said cheerfully "follow me" and with that he started walking

    “Oh cool!" He smiled "how was your visit do far? Did you have fun?"

“I’m Rose, it’s nice to meet you Zack!”  She smiled, happy to meet the older male. Rose did indeed love to meet new people.

    “Here we go! Sorry the place is still a mess" he said with an awkward chuckle as he opened the door and letting her in.Zack was the cheerful type no matter how awkward the situation was the usual smile never left his lips, he was glad to find a kind neighbor willing to help with all the mess he had to work with. He made a mental note to pay her back somehow 

    “Uh..for almost a month” he mumbled while seating the boxes down "you can put these over there,thank you" 

    “I was just busy with work and I stayed in hotels most of the time so I never got the chance to move everything from my old apartment, but hey I have time now that's good !" he smiled "so you said we're gonna be neighbors, where do you live?"

    “Ill do my best" he nodded 

    “things sure are strict here but don't worry I'm not going to do anything suspicious or cross the line" he replied with a wave of his hand "I figured there will be some kind of test I'm ready for it whenever you want! ..I have a question though..is there some kind of uniforms and weapons that I have to use? Because.. I really don't want to throw this behind".he said pointing at the huge sword on his back 

“Most jobs do, this one included but I’l let you figure that out for  yourself”

“Mhm, we’re low on guards otherwise I’d question you more. Just know that if you step too far out of line I can ensure you won’t get any honest jobs this side of Xing” she sad with a wave of her hand. “Mao has his own duties to attend to so I’ll have to show you around. Eventually I hope to have you working under Fen, but you’ll have to prove yourself first”
