Note that for all of us… ego, pride and confidence are leading signs of maturity. They are symptoms of someone’s self-esteem being healthy. The opposites of which are arrogance, superiority and conceitedness — symptoms of baseness, and tumors of insecurity. Try not to confuse the two categories.

She's beautiful, all the world would admit.

Golden tattoos stretch down her forearms, accenting skin of terra cotta brown. In the black hair that flows down her back, little gold snakes gleam bright from delicate braids. It is not mere outer beauty - she sees the value inherent in a person, outweighing sides and loyalties.

Her warm smile and silver tongue, her affable manner, these make it easy to overlook the little bit of Eldritch that peeks through. Teeth slightly too sharp, too long, too many. Faint hints of ozone that linger against her skin. The soundless grace of her movements.

There is nothing about the Courier’s 5′2″ self that indicates strength upon first meeting. She has an easy smile and bright, curious eyes, and even if you know it’s easy to forget. It isn’t until you watch her pick up a grenade machinegun effortlessly or climb a raider’s leg with a knife to get off of the ground or effortlessly throw a molotov cocktail two hundred yards wearing a grin like the Cheshire cat that you reflect on the strength of the muscles outlined under her skin. Of the wasteland’s kill or be killed effect on everything in it. S - 7 (implant +1, reinforced spine +2)

All of the Courier’s considerable perception is focused on the land. She can find the only water in a hundred miles in a place she’s never been before, can pinpoint a deathclaw nest before they catch scent of her, can outmaneuver an enemy in his own camp, but she has no sense of social skills unless her survival instinct kicks in. More than once this has lead to a situation blowing up in her face - sometimes literally.  P - 5 (+1 implant)

Her skin is a dark tawny, covered in freckles, and with more than a few scars that hold deep memories. There is a cobweb of burn scar from the Cloud on her left arm up to her elbow. On her right hip and thigh, the burn-scarred claw marks of a ghost yao guai suggest that the she-bear was more than a mere hallucination. On her back, along her spine, is the long, thin scar from where it was pulled from her body and she had to argue with robots to have it returned - the bickering of scientists still irritates her. Perhaps the most obvious of scars she carries is the one on her face, above her right eye, the impact of a 9mm spiderwebbing out. One doesn’t survive such violence without having both a superb healing rate and a high pain tolerance. E - 8 (+implant)

On one hand she can count the number of people who have called her ‘Gabby.’ There is her sister, who is kind and clever; the King’s second-in-command who said it in such a mocking manner that she left him for dead at the hands of the NCR in a back alley; and Veronica, who calls her solely that and says it with such oblivious goodwill that she can’t quite bring herself to be annoyed. She draws people to her with her smile and her good deeds, knows half the wasteland by name, but the few who actually get close enough see the wild behind her eyes and watch her laugh at the tide of blood that follows in her wake. Logic rarely interrupts when Gabriella is truly intent on something. The last time it did, it was to get Benny alone rather than fight through the entire casino for him, and Swank still looks at her sometimes like he must have looked at what remained of Benny’s body when she was done. Still, she’s not a fool. Gabriella is quite convinced that if she ever ran into something too much for her she would back down. At least, that’s what she told Raul over the burning pyre that once was Nelson. I - 5 (+ 1 implant)

Where Gabriella had gained the ability to climb a 90-degree slope no one would ever know. She did it in the Quarry to find a good place to kill deathclaws from (and pulled Raul up after her); in Zion after losing her patience going around said hill to the White Leg’s camp (Daniel had complained about impatience, Joshua had slid down the slope after her); and once to get to a Bighorner she had just killed (Vulpes chased the others off and went to check if she was dead when she popped back up over the edge.) When pressed, she counted it among the same abilities as dodging a blow from a raider or remaining hidden while raining explosives on her prey. Just one of those things. A - 7 (+1 implant)

The game was rigged from the start, it’s true, but what they fail to understand is that the odds were in her favor. All one has to do is watch the way she doggedly chased Benny, or baptized herself in the blood of both the NCR and the Legion, or fell into the long-lost dreams of the Mojave’s consciousness to know that she would long be dead in a grave outside Goodsprings if she were not spectacularly lucky. A simple aesthetic template that I made for myself, but I thought I would share! Super, super simple to use – all knowledge that is needed is knowledge of clipping masks. Each box is labeled – so you know where your picture is going. Has an optional text layer. The coloring in the preview is not included in the download. But, if you’d like the coloring, I also have it available for download on THIS POST, my icon psd called Glow. Please give this a like/reblog if you’re downloading! No credited needed ( although its always nice, I love seeing what you guys make! ), just don’t claim it as your own template. Alter it however you see fit. I have included a folder with a mask for you to put your psd in. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

i’m bringing u on this fine day my latest creation, aimed @ moodboards or aesthetic edits But not limited to it, since it can also b used as a character psd if u want to ? it’s rly Easy to edit since most of the work u have to do is use clipping mask to make your pictures fit the boxes ! i made a couple of examples so u could get an idea of the different ways u can work this, but the template itself comes Clean & with a few notes 2 help u through.

○ DIMENSIONS are 850 x 900 ! if u want to add a dotted texture i recommend resizing it to 540px width before starting to edit it so it has tumblr’s measurements

○ PSD used is ( 37. nature by @remondpsds ), not included !

○ FONTS used are ( zefani stencil ) and ( roboto bold condensed ), not included ! to download the zefani one, click on the personal use download option

○ the total count of pictures needed is ( thirteen ) without counting the 2 optional backgrounds

○ if u don’t know how to use clipping mask, simply place ur picture above the layer you want to clip it to ( like this ), right click on the layer of ur picture & then click on “create clipping mask” ─── alternatively u can do the same, But instead of right click on the layer, jst select it and then press ‘alt+ctrl+g’ on windows, i dn’t kno the keys on mac sry :^(

○ SMALL NOTE ! u may have to play around with the settings of di bottom text since some psds make it look weird, but nothing major, jst tweak it around until u see it looks gud with the psd of ur choice ─── or simply make the color of the inner glow darker like i did w the 1st example ! what i did for the 2nd example was add drop shadow, color #000 in multiply w opacity 74 @ -90º, distance 2, spread 4 & size 5, no global light with the noise at 0% nd it worked somehow for me, u can try sumthing similar if u see it gets a bit hard 2 read it !
