It’s been quite some time I have saw a series flood pixiv with fanart... But boy, Overwatch went and got even me in the trend.
Disclaimer: I actually don’t play it as my PC is not near the minimal requirements to run it and I’m not buying it for console because c’mon, like anyone played TF2 in a console.
Now for the real thing I want to talk about: at some point I thing Overwatch doesn’t even need a game. Don’t get this wrong, it’s fun to play but I still have compelling argument on the “TF2 on steroids” and the, let’s face it stale meta in the competitive scene.
None the less, the one thing I can’t say anything about is the shorts Blizzard did to promote the game, damn those are top knotch stuff. Just excellent.
Now try getting this together with the anime/manga community, artists across the web and fanfics. At this point OW is something more than a game and animated shorts.
Fan arts are amazing and while there are not actual indication ships go wild.
 Some arts I gathered

[SMALL BUT YET SPOILER ALERT]
It’s been quite some time since I wrote the last one of this but here it is, a First Episode review. Qualidea Code This one got me really hyped since it was announced, well, how could I not? The staff reached the "dream team" level. Minds and artists behind some well known and some of my favorite series: Kawamura Kenichi  , responsible for Devil May Cry and Black Lagoon; Tachibana Koushi, creator of Date a live; Watari Wataru, responsible for Oregairu and Sagara Sou responsible for HenNeko.
From the first episode it's easy to detect the way things will roll, Action, Magic, Romance and a sip of Harem.Doesn’t really sound that great but believe me it’s look pretty good. The episode felt 10 minutes long despite the 25 minutes size, Characters archtype are top knotch, ones that are not used as main in normal ones which adds a special flavor to it.
The prospect is good as the as the art really fits the way things go and the relations between the main characters are not plain but developed at some point.
Looking for the development of this piece

Love Live! School Idol Project & Love Live! School Idol Project 2nd Season: All that waifu material and yet...
[SPOILER ALERT]
Tumblr media
This one is controversial to me,I went for God Tier waifus and average story and I ended up finding mid-to-top tier waifus and a-little-above-average story. The anime resolves in a simple way, the problem is shown in the first 4 minutes of the first episode. From that point on the first season wraps itself showing the way till the group gathers all the 9 waifus, the internal ships and the competition that names the anime. From this point I spoil that since there's a second season is no mystery that they don't win,Well. They actually give up on entering after they discover that the crisis -school closing - is averted thanks to an earlier performance of theirs and so the season continues and end with one of the first 3 -Kotori- going study abroad but she doesn’t tell anyone and they end up arguing and airport scene of “Please don’t go”.... You know the thrill.
Second season is a little more straight to the point... more or less. The third-years are going to graduate and “luckly” the Love Live gets to be earlier than expected *(¬ - ¬) seriously?* and they go like “Last concert with all 9 of us” but at some point comes to them that if they wer not together they should change the group’s name - which ticked me a bit cuz... c’mon. What group stays with the original formation forever? But I let it pass since it’s an anime- and then this becomes really a problem when they get a block to singing because of that and I went like “Motherefocka you did wat?” This remembered why I’m always skeptical about anime with only girls as main characters - Don’t get this as a machist statement, my point is: as a male in my early 20′s I just don’t see the reasoning in some of girl’s inner conflicts. But yeah, they go to the competition, win and happy ending.
As for a review, If I was to grade it,a 6,5/10 would do it for overall, a 5 or 5,5/10 to story, music depends on your taste so it’s x/10, art 7/10 and for waifus in general 7,5/10 my personal favorites are both
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maki and Nozomi. I won’t recommend the anime by itself but as it’s currently high commented and nearly everyone in the community have their own waifu from here it is a good add to the portifolio.

Anime Review: Maken-ki & Maken-ki Two: An animated guide of how to have a good manga, a good first anime season then making 16 OVAs, grabbing 10 of them, calling it a season and destroying the image of the series in the process
[SPOILER ALERT]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Point of order, I started to read the manga because this series really caught my attention but the anime reached the "mediocre" level.
Basically I will just say what the anime says (that is not much) about the story and so. Basically there’s a kind of nature’s power anyone can use if they train and it’s called Element but that alone do little things, there are artifacts that can bring the true power of Element to the wielder, those are called Maken. To the ones who want to train the powers there is this place called Tenbi Academy which turned co-ed just the year before the main character enters the school,<insert surname> Takeru and 1 minute later we get to know <insert surname> Haruko, who tells the story as inside narrator and out of nowhere we get to know both Himegami Kodama and <insert surname> Inaho.(Cuttitng to the chase) After some episodes they kind of explain really without explaining much the deal with Kodama wanting to kill Takeru and why the school is target of attacks and a lot of other things. At this point you have a full catalog of waifus and all, the story is basically settled as: there is a club that is called Kenkeibu and also Maken-ki and that has to do with the student council cuz they got to ensure fair duels and peace at the school(this is the much the anime tells). The first season ends wih a girl of the Kamigari organization releasing Takeru’s wild power and he gets saved by the waifus. The season ends with the good vibe of “the second season will clarify my questions” or so I thought. - Personal Note-: This first season review looks down on the good points of the anime because after I started reading the manga I got really mad at the anime because the manga is WAY better than the anime in many ways.
Now, calling Maken-Ki Two a second season is way too much. Those are OVAs straight, direct and without questioning. There is no chronology between the episodes not to say that there is no actual storyline at all. Those episodes are good as OVAs full of funny moments, fan service and so forth but calling that a second season is just offensive to the ones who really expected a continuation and that is most of the reason I can’t give a good recommendation to this anime. If you want something full of fan service and laughs go ahead and watch it but if you want story you would be better off reading the manga.

Anime Review: Valkirye Drive: Mermaid: If Seikon no Qwaser and Cross Ange had a daughter she would look like this.
Tumblr media
I don’t have the source of this art but whoever did it, you are awesome
[SPOILER ALERT]
First off, I can’t actually reccommend this for people under 14 not because I don’t want to but I feel I have to maintain appearances a little bit in here. But whatever, I’m not here to say what you can or cannot watch, I’m here to give you my seal of approval but if you want to watch Boku no Pico it’s your call.
The anime caused kind of a ruckus by it was released thanks to the “ecchi” the censored version was, luckly to me I got to watch all of it uncensored as soon as the no bullshit version got out. It’s a lost gem, by that I mean that I found a new High ecchi that is not the full-of-fanservice adaptation of a slice of life, drama manga. I’m looking at you Yosuga no Sora (¬_¬).
At the beginning you don’t get much of an explanation but that because of some virus the govermment confine the infected in an island, note that all the infected are girls and that the virus is not lethal to the carriers. And so they got to live there. What the virus actually does? Well... It has two faces one enhances physical strength and the other one is what makes this anime a lost gem, when a girl with this one kind of virus climaxes (and I mean it) she turns into a weapon. Let me enphasize that yes you read it right, climaxes in a sexual way turns some of the girls into weapons and leads to a Duo style of living, By that I mean couples and some cases of mutiple girls turning into an armor and so. The main characters are a loli, Mamori and a senpai, Mirei that have to fight to way out of the island.
The art is good, both opening and ending are great and plot is ok. I reccommend it, just watch it

Anime Review: Oreimo(Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai ) & Oreimo 2 (Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai 2 ) : A full guide to tsundere otome imoutos, harems, cat fights and really difficult relationships
I want to emphasise that I started writing this on September 2015
[SPOILER ALERT]
Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai is one of the anime I can’t really say I like or hate. It’s a fairly good anime but at some point I lost my opinion on it. Let me start by telling the story.
The story start with the main character Kyousuke
Tumblr media
and the main waifu (that is not the main heroin) then after some time we are briefly introduced to Kirino, the heroin
Tumblr media
By  Hiro Kanzaki
The catch is that later we discover Kirino’s fatal secret, she’s a lolicon eroge player otome. Yeah… Pretty cool huh? With that she is a 99% tsun and 1% dere. Pretty complicated. The thing is, she can’t show to people her hobbies to family and friend although she’s a perfect student and a part-time model (really) cuz either her parents or friends Kanako & Ayase will judge her. After some real tense moments falls to Kyousuke’s hands to save his sister’ s hobby and as a great Aniki he confronts his ultra conservative father with all his means. It’s quite a good scene. The series follow till the point Kirino notices she has no one to talk about her hobby, afflicted by that she goes again to her Onii-chan for guidance. She ends up in an online forum and later meet the members of it (girls only btw), in the meeting we get to know 2 of the key characters in the series (I just remember the nicknames-_-) Kuroneko
Tumblr media
By Hiro Kanzaki
and Bagina(yea this lame in so many levels). Stuff continues till Kirino and friends write a fanfic to sell, at the event she meets Ayase which starts aad circle of me asking myself if in Japan they got something against otakus(I’m not talking about weeabos). Basically Ayase hates amnga and related and starts to suspect Kirino of liking it, Kirino denys and call off her otaku friends and once again it falls to Kyousuke to fix everything. Later on Kirino writes a nobel which have been adapted to an anime but the studio guys shoot down her high hopes on nearly all assets, she hets stressed with other stuff and then sick and guess what? Onii-chan to the rescue. By episode 12 (as I remember) we get to version, like, when did I start to play a VN? One of those is the good end which ends the series and the other is the original that Kirino travel to USA to a special academy for sports like a sport exchange. But back in Japan Kyousuke starts dating Kuroneko which to me is the top part of the whole series and the fist season ends. Second season starts off without the main heroin-I even questioned myself about that. 3-4 episodes in Kirino didn’t reply calls or any of the kind and suddenly texts “Throw my otaku stuff out” and with that Kyousuke decides to go bring back his imouto cuz why not? He really goes there and things roll up but she comes back to find out that her brother is dating her best friend, result, jealousy. She then gets a guy to pretend to be her boyfriend but Kyousuke discovers that and Kirino has an emotional breakdown about how she feels Kuroneko is stealing him from her. Then for her own reasons Kuroneko breaks with Kyousuke and without notice moves to another city- spme really touching parts there- but Kirino sees her brother afflicted by that and helps him track down Kuroneko and get things straight and for the first time in series Kirino fix stuff, then they become friends again and so on. Later because of fate Kyousuke becomes Kanako’s agent on her pop star life…. Ok I guess. And then we meet the final arc of the series. Kyousuke wants to enroll in a college that his father disapproves so they make a bet If Kyousuke can live by himself and pass his father will pay his tuition, the father rents a apartment for Kyousuke and get him to leave there for 3 months before the entrance exam. And things go on and on, stuff happens and for some reason literally ALL the girls decide to declare themselves to him, one at a time (by then you could say it was the final lap of the race) and it's at this point my whole hate comes together and becomes the why I hate this series but need to recommend it. Aside from breaking up with Kuroneko for the jealousy of his sister (that is a pretty lame reason), when all the girls confess to him (including Kuroneko again the son of a fuck refuses them all in a streak for just a KISS of 350 frames(matter of fact it was like 2-3 seconds long). Like, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!? He could have ended up with Kuroneko that would have been 10/10 for life but you chose to get out with nothing. Fuck. I really spoiled out everything there but the fact is that I have to say to you to watch it, just don't be like me, don't expect wincest like I did, the last gemsof that are Yosuga no Sora and Aki-Sora.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya, 2wei and 2wei Herz!: I could use some more anime like this.
Tumblr media
[SPOILER ALERT]
Let me first be crystal clear about some stuff before I really start. I didn’t read/watched the original Fate/Night series, didn’t play any of the VN nor read the mangas of Fate/kaleid so be aware that I am basing my review on the spin off only and might not go to the whole series perspective.
I got myself watching this because at some point of my highschool life on of my friends came to me and showed me some gifs of the anime. Naturally, after watching about 250 frames of censored clothed well drawn yuri loli action I asked for a source. When the Fate/kaleid came to my ears I really questioned what did yuri lolis had to do with Fate/Night, the only answer was “Well it’s a spin off". It was much later that I came to really watch it and yet I stalled at episode 4 after it came to me that the main heroin almost quit her powers. Like. WTF girl you can really kick as with that stuff, why are you afraid? Much time later came to my knowledge that what I was seeking(mostly more lolis but the yuri loli action was determinant too) was beyond the gates of the first season so I set a mark “I will finish this and enjoy the loli paradise” - as I write this kind of quote I feel this becomes more awkward. One of the things I can confirm is that at the very start you get to know nearly every relevant character except for the most important one.
Now, let’s cut to the chase.
First season is pretty objective as to say. It really doesn’t stop to fanservice or filler and it shows the format of the anime in general, 10 episodes /season…. It’s ok, the episodes flow nicely in a linear way, that is for the whole series, that said if you get a way to play the episodes non-stop it might feel like a movie (ecxept for the opening and ending). You get to know Rin and Ruvia (or Luvia) from the main line with Ruby and Sapphire - The magic sticks. Then comes Illya ( I don’t really need to explain this, her name is on the title) and her same age friends and then the “misterious” second heroin, Miyu (later I will explain the “misterious”). As I said before the first season is straight to the chase, meeting, fight, emotional breakdown, reflection, friendship cannon and it goes on till the defeat the first boss and FINALLY AT THE FUCKING LAST EPISODE FANSERVICE APPEARS FOR 2 AND A HALF SECONDS (When it came up it made my day, like, I reached my goal, like, finally I reached the promised land). To sum up, Illya half-sleep kiss Miyu thinking she was her(Illya’s) Onii-chan (although he doesn’t look like Illya’s blood relative, well whatever at this point)
Second season starts slow, or kinda, Ruby and Sapphire didn’t return to Rin and Rubia (as they should) and because of something Illya and Miyu get to do something but it backfires and something triggers into Illya and in the following second a split twin comes out of the blue, like, WTF another loli YES. The name of the new loli is also Illya that later turns to Kuro. What comes with her? She tries to kill Illya and then becomes the beacon of fanservice in the series. PERFECT. So to episode 5 feelings get real, I held back a bit there because… Well, go there and watch it. About episode 7 or 8 we get to know the new boss Bazzet that really packs a punch but the season ends kinda lame but with fanservice which is great because yuri loli action is the best.
And so third season starts even slower. Rin discovers a new card so they need to find it but guess what? Summer break which leads to first Beach episode and then Summer festival episode. Later stuff gets really serious as they find the real badass card and discover the mistery of Miyu and the conflict goes by 4 -5 episodes -almost half season- and it ends with some feelings storm and clearly with fanservice.
I don’t know if you approve my review on that but I know I’m not the only one moved by yuri loli and yuri loli so yeah… I have to reccommend it , just watch it, it’s amazing… at least good for a weekend.
4th season is to be produced YES

Episode Review: Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry 9: The dirt side of the princess
[SPOILER ALERT]
So... If I would describe this episode rawith 3 main things they would be:
“Fan service”
New Badass
New Villain
We started off pretty good this time, Stella went from 0 to Giving everything away in the first 30 seconds of the episode
Tumblr media
Followed by several other remarkable moments
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But when we reached the middle of the episode...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then Ikki took the lead
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and then...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Best part of the episode \/
Tumblr media
We then met who appears to be the last villain in the season
Tumblr media
And the last pseudo-waifu
Tumblr media
I don’t know about you but this episode felt like a filler more than actual cotent as the “ecchi” doesn’t affect the story and Ikki turns down any easy romance scene. It’s no surprise this lost the hype
