Y'all, I need more of the hc that Tim is being 100% serious, but people think he's joking or being sarcastic.

Just Tim point blank being like "yeah, I've got plans to take over the world in case they stop selling Zesti."

And everyone is like "mood. Of course, Tim." Cass is just sitting there nodding cause she knows Tim is 100% serious on these plans. He's even shared them with her.

growing up is realizing that rachel was exactly who percy needed in that period of his life. because she knew enough about the demigod world that percy could confide in her about the responsibilities as the prophecy kid. but was also separate enough from the demigod world that she never placed him on a pedestal or pitied him for it. she never looked at him like he was a dead man walking. or expected him to become something more than himself to get the job done. say what you want about their relationship. but no one. not sally. not paul. not poseidon. not chiron. not grover. and definitely not annabeth. could have been for percy what rachel was for him.

the necklace exchange has to be one of my favorite scenes in the show. because in the books. annabeth gives percy her necklace to symbolize that she'll fight beside him in the face of adversity. when he's about to fight ares. but in the tv series. ares was never the real threat. percy whooped his ass in two seconds flat. the real threat was zeus. zeus is at the head of the neglectful system of which the gods use their children's as pawns to do their bidding. and when percy compared him to a monster. something he has to dismantle or dethrone to survive. he is essentially setting a death sentence in motion. and annabeth. who has blindly followed in the gods footsteps since she was seven. who has done everything they've ever asked. who perceives her value as a person based solely on the gods approval. understood that. and to go from blindly following the gods into to battle. to figuratively fighting alongside percy in the face of adversity. is one of the the utmost expressions of faith between these two thus far. and i love it so much.

okay but percy calling the minotaur 'ground beef' is so diabolical. because imagine being the well-known. undefeatable. half-bull half-man. seven foot tall monster. prancing around in your fanciest fruit of the loom tighty whities. and this twelve year old. with no objective experience in swordfighting. whose mom you just violently squished to death. calls you a feast for carnivores. the important part of a taco. the beef of the wellington. i would have gave up.

imagine sally taking percy to montauk over the years. using the hours that he's asleep to sit along the beachside shore. remembering the nights she had with poseidon. basking in the delicate breeze on a soft bed of sand. stolen kisses under the moonlight. a love she never thought she'd find. and then her world came crashing like the tide. now all she has left of poseidon is a child he can't help her raise. but she loves percy with all her might. and they'll be okay soon enough.

and then imagine sally taking paul to montauk. using the hours he's asleep to sit along the beachside shore. remembering the nights she had with percy. making smores with blue-tinted marshmallows. the two of them staying up too late at night bingeing soap operas. a happiness she never thought she'd be able to provide for her son. and then her world came crashing down once more. now all she has left of percy is an empty bedroom and a missed phone call from the otherside of the country. but word from camp is that annabeth found him. and if that rings true. then they'll be okay soon enough.

i just want to say that the purpose of the first act of in any story is to establish rules and set up promises that the final act will pay off. and there's a good likelihood that some of the changes that rick made in the show are just that. so respectfully. sit tight and let him cook. a watched pot never boils.

damian definitely watches kids shows, if ever asked why he says it’s research for school, to understand his peers infernal conversations so he doesn’t die out of boredom.

if the family happens to find him so deeply enthralled watching bluey or lego ninjago — or something to the point he starts drawing self inserts? he’ll deny deny deny.
