Brooke has been into photography ever since she was young, so on the side, she has her own photography company called Impression.
Due to being a little too into herself, Brooke takes numerous selfies a day. It’s a weakness....
Coffee > Everything else. At least 90% of Brooke’s body is made up of coffee.

g u i d e l i n e s,
To make everyone’s experience here at Breckenridge, the staff has put together some guidelines to ensure that everything runs as smooth as possible. They’re very simple, so no one should have any issues with following.
Groups cannot survive without active members so your activity will be monitored. Simply logging in does not count as being active, what counts is in-character status posts, character developments, participating in the spirit weeks and of course, writing. On the topic of writing, you should be replying within three weeks - that should be more than enough time. The staff will be keeping track. The more time that passes between replies, the more of a chance people will begin losing interest so please try your best to reply in a timely manner. If you and the other writer have decided that you will be sending the starter, please do not wait more than one week to send it. It really shouldn’t take that long, but things happen. To keep track, make sure that you update your owes every Sunday. Yes, the staff would like to see your owes so we know that you’re reaching out and discussion. Make sure to add the dates of the day you agreed to send a starter/the date you got a reply so you keep track. If you must delete your comments, please be sure to screenshot them and send them in so we can keep track of your activity. Failure to do so may result in the removal of your role.
During your first week, you will not be required to make any connections. Instead, your main focus will be your character’s development. When developing your character, don’t hold back! Our only request is that you remain human and are over the age of 21. Unfortunately, supernatural themes will not work for this group. Everything else is fair game! The staff wants you to truly get into your character and love what you’ve created. Speaking of being in-character, please do your best to stay in-character as much as possible. When it comes to social media, do as you please, but on your page, please stay in character. If you must make an out-of-character post, make it easy to see. For example, put “//” in front of your ooc post.
Changes are completely fine, as long as you've given your playby/storyline a chance. When first joining, please make sure your playby is someone you can stick with for a period of time because you will not have the chance to change for a month in real life time. Any changes before a month’s period, you’ll need to ask a staff member. We just don’t want to have to change everything every so often because it is very time-consuming.
Social media is not required, but it is a great way to get to know the other members. It’s also quicker when it comes to discussing storylines. Although most people use social media, especially line, keep in mind that not everyone likes to. In that case, please still reach out to them on the site and discuss storylines. The last thing anyone wants is to feel left out, so do your part and try to make everyone feel welcomed. We all have people we get along with more than with others and that's totally fine, but don’t ignore anyone else. Sometimes when you take the time to reach out to someone and they just don’t return the time and effort, it does become a problem so if this happens, please let the staff know.
Don’t be drama queens/kings. Unless it’s in-character, the drama will not be tolerated. We will be nice and give you just one warning but after that, you will get cut from the group. The answer to question three is anotherlove by Prince and 3rdeyegirl. We’re all mature adults, right? There’s no reason to act childish. A lot of writers are here to get away from reality, so let’s all be respectful. It really isn’t that hard.
Outside connections are okay, just please make sure your fellow group members come first. Relationships, on the other hand, are to stay within the group. If you were dating prior to joining, there will be an exception. Marriages and pregnancies do not have to be approved by the staff, but let us know beforehand :) This rule is pretty simple, so there’s not much else to say on the matter.
Layouts and pictures must be neat and posted within a week after joining. Your biography does not have to be completely filled right away as the activity checks will be about character development so the biography can wait. It looks a heck of a lot nicer when all of your pictures are sized the same both on your profile and for your defaults. Your display name does not have to be so basic with just your name and a period, but please don’t go overboard. If you need help with either a layout or pictures, simply ask. We will not mind helping :)
Hiatuses will be allowed, we just need to know for how long. The maximum you're allowed is two weeks but a longer break will be approved within reason, We understand that life comes first and with the holidays coming up, people will need breaks.
These rules have been written on 11.17.17. If the staff feels the need to add more, they will be added below. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Breckenridge is a Colorado town at the base of the Rocky Mountains' Tenmile Range. It's known for its ski resorts, year-round mountain-related activities, and Gold Rush history. The Victorian core of this former mining town is preserved as the Breckenridge National Historic District, running mostly along Main Street, with colorfully painted buildings from the 1880s and '90s housing shops, galleries, and restaurants. The town population was 4,896 as of 2016 based on the United States Census. The town also has many part-time residents, as many people have vacation homes in the area. Breckenridge is known for the events that the town holds yearly.  Every January, the International Snow Sculpture Championships are held in Breckenridge, where sculptors from around the world compete to create works of art from twenty-ton blocks of snow. Since winter of 2008-2009, the Freeway Terrain Park on Peak 8 hosts the Winter Dew Tour in December, featuring the biggest names in extreme snowboarding and skiing. Other events held on the mountain include the annual Imperial Challenge, Breck's version of a triathlon, The 5 Peaks, North America's longest ski mountaineering race, the Breck Ascent Series, with races up the mountain, as well as other competitions, festivals, and the annual Spring Fever month-long celebration at the end of the ski season with live concerts, festivities and other celebrations around spring skiing. During the summer, Breckenridge is host to the National Repertory Orchestra and the Breckenridge Music Institute. Concerts are scheduled three to four nights a week. Full orchestra, ensembles, and contemporary artists perform at the Riverwalk Center, downtown near the Blue River. Several art fairs come to Breckenridge every summer, attracting many local artists and buyers. The town also puts on an annual Fourth of July celebration, featuring a parade in the morning and fireworks at night. In September each year since 1981, the Breckenridge Festival of film is held. Loads of fun, right?
So, whether you’re a lifelong resident, recently relocated or only here for the season, anything can happen at any time! Don’t be afraid to branch out of your comfort zone, try something new! The staff is just as excited as you are to see how your character unfolds and blossoms within. Happy writings! - Breckenridge Staff
