To put it bluntly, the only way to end homelessness is to house people or kill them.

That's it. Those are your options. Homelessness doesn't go away based on "crime crackdowns." You will imprison the unhoused, and when they are free, they will be unhoused again. Or they will die in prison.

When you burn encampments or force people out without their stuff, they remain unhoused or freeze to death.

After working with the unhoused, it's become abundantly clear that those who don't want to support them instead want them dead.

There is blood on the hands of every government and organization that controls the homeless population with force instead of compassion.

As a disabled vet recently dx with DID, this helped a lot with the shame i do hold for myself for having an animal alter, so thank you.

I just wanted to make a post clarifying something for all of you...singlets...out there.

If you are friends with a system that has animal alters, and you think it's acceptable to act like it's a joke or make fun of them, you need to go take a bath in acid.

We have multiple animal alters. Three programmed cats that were born from a Warrior Cats script and a black GSD that came about after we developed clinical lycanthropy during wilderness "therapy".

It's not funny when your friend is so traumatized that they end up completely disconnecting from their sense of humanity. None of our alters identify as humans, even if some of our introjects are in their sources. Nobody is comfortable with being perceived as humans in our system, and whether that presents as an alter saying that they don't want to be referred to as human, or an alter starts walking on all fours and barking, you do not have the right to treat it like it's some game that they can just snap out of because you think it's "cringey" or "embarrassing".

Our trauma is not embarrassing. Our system is not embarrassing. Our alters are not embarrassing. Our mental illness is not embarrassing.

The only thing that's embarrassing here is your behavior.
