ideal living situation is what i call the 'sitcom special' : having all your closest friends live in the same apartment building or neighborhood where you each have your own space but can wander in and out of eachothers homes at will, seemingly always welcome and never at bad times. and also all of you only have jobs when its important to the plot.

Some printmaking!

This project I actually completed back in May! I just wasn’t sure how to post this, but I decided to say fuck it and just do a dump of images (including a face reveal ;) ) for you guys! The first photo in this series is actually the final I presented to my class. It includes the Connecticut state bird and state flower, which is hand painted, and of course the print of Hale’s stamp. I made the printmaking plate (second image) via a process called photopolymer engraving, and if you want to learn more about it I’ll drop a link below!

The last video is of me running it through the press :)

someone once said my art reminded them of Leyendecker and I’ve been chasing that high ever since…high praise…that was my peak (yes, this was inspired by one of his works)!
