what do you think of the mobile game pokemon friends?

I have it downloaded but have not yet checked it out, looks very cute though. Love the usage of plushies to decorate a little room. Will have to look at it's DLC to judge if the prices are worth it.

what was up with pokemon sleep in that presents btw, was the dev team caught at a bad time because the new area isn’t until November and the johto beasts got in over a year ago. I thought maybe “oh they’re gonna show the beasts and then maybe Ho-Oh and then Lugia with the kanto birds” but no it was an announcement for their rerun that was odd but happy for sleep players

TCG pocket being omitted was also odd I swear this presents was edited together / constructed weirdly. even Masters EX I thought all the anniversary units would be revealed so the inevitable datamine in a few days wouldn’t leak them first

Very cool and cute design, maybe somewhat simple but I think effective all the same. Angel-esque Wings are just cool in general.

GO Fest 2025 (Global) has been alright, got some new dex entries and shinies (thank god Skiddo, Gogoat and Klefki were here) and will complete the Volcanion tasks eventually. I think there is still some noticeable decline (that seems to have been plaguing GO for a while now) like how the Pikachus and Falinks (incredible costumes btw) aren’t in the wild or some of the choices for Pokemon appearing in habitats but I think I’ve enjoyed this more than the Unova Tour at least.

Legendaries have appeared in the wild during past big events I think I’d like to have seen the Regi Trio, Regieleki and Regidraco around as incredibly rare spawns in reference to The Crown Tundra (I think? they were in raids events/days just before the fest so why not just include them in the event itself??) though possible they do this for the eventual Calyrex debut and have a big Tundra spectacle

Also ik Eternatus is coming soon but the event has felt like this lmao (im a huge volcanion movie fan so seeing volcanion here with a steampunk thing going on but no magearna kills me)

wanted to make another post about Smurfs (2025) ever since the second main trailer and Rihanna’s song dropped (a song that has grown on me) but i honestly don’t know what to say? the soundtrack and more clips are out and the music isn’t bad and it’s nice to see a few more smurfs i guess even if they’re just ones like “Calendar Smurf”, “Sound-Effects Smurf”, so-on. But I really hope the “What is a Smurf?” theming pulls through all the, honestly cringe and I hate using cringe seriously, other scenes to deliver a good story. I still have some hope, you can do it Smurfs movie.

moshi monsters what was that. what was THAT. £2.5 MILLION? do not get me wrong the new art and animation is incredibly good and i am happy they are back but oh my god the insane whiplash, i watched people turn on them so FAST. tiktok is going to be BUZZING soon the concept art and idea for the new game is cute, it'll never truly be what the original was (+plus there's some fan recreations iirc i dipped my toes in once i might go back) but i would/will give it a try if it happens. i dunno how they're gonna pull this one back i think everyones trust got shattered oops

Poppet was my monster choice btw I loved Poppet I forget what I named mine though maybe Pop/Poppy? dunno. Wallop & Gabby are my fav moshlings tho

all the sonic blitz stuff is super insane and the game does look fun but i think the most exciting part for me is that whoever does get into this game is getting a nice model and clean render i love having a definite set of renders to draw from for characters
