hello anon! we are indeed a closed directory, but i wouldn't have an issue with you using a muse that you are currently using in another directory as long your experience in this group and that group remain separate! ie, you would make an account for that muse to use exclusively with this group and the muse's connections and interactions in that group would not carry over here. i hope that makes sense! if i misunderstood what you meant, pls feel free to follow up! <333

Hi! What sorts of muses are most wanted atm?

[ anon asked: what kinda characters are you hoping to see more of? ] apologies to you both for answering these so late! but i can definitely give you a rundown of some muses i'd like to see! i shall put them under a cut so they don't go on too long, but i hope some of these may spark some inspo for you!! members, if there are any specific archetypes or muse vibes you'd like to see, feel free to reply to this!

career-based inspo

i think a muse who makes asmr videos and is trying to break into foley artistry would be very unique!! maybe they are trying to grow their following, but they can't afford the same pricey microphones and aesthetically beautiful sets that other big asmr creators use, so they have to improvise!

a peculiar, offbeat muse who has a varied and somewhat macabre employment past. perhaps they've done things like funeral home helper, crime scene cleanup etc and now they've settled down into a somewhat more mundane role at a comics & oddities shop. maybe they are always shocking thrill-seeking customers with their unnerving stories!

give me a fledgling magician!! like they absolutely idolized the magic greats of the past and want to rise to that level of fame but are forced to face that the modern world doesn't really get excited about magic the way a world with limited technology did. lots of unpaid gigs, kids' birthday parties and existential crises pls.

i'd love to see the brewed awakening baker! they are responsible for all the amazing and creative pastries that ba puts out and would have a pretty easy link to the other tenants!

personality-based inspo

i would love to see more rebels, rulebreakers and people who generally have a baddie vibe! dr*g dealers, people who hang out with the wrong crowd, street racers, organized crime etc!

give me a liar, and a frequent one at that. any opportunity they get to spin some wild, untrue story, they take it. doesn't even seem to be for any purpose other than seeing how far they can get.

i'd love to see the 2k pop culture lover; frosted tips or gloss, collector of old tech and constantly blaring early '00s pop + r&b. they can't help but feel that they peaked in the wrong era!

we have a few astrophiles, but i'd love to see the ultimate space lover!! telescope and blanket set up on the roof, mapping constellations and talking other people's ears off about the latest unexplained stellar phenomenon.

i'd love to see a mystic type of muse! someone who's really into crystals and tarot readings and burning sage to cleanse a space of negative energy! they would no doubt always have tidings from the psychic they consult.

to celebrate the official opening of brewedhq and all of the wonderful characters who have joined, i wanted our first task to be something that could give a little look inside each muse's loft! you're tasked with designing a moodboard that gives everyone a good sense of what your muse's living space looks like! do they have any houseplants or pets? what does their bed look like? do they have a lot of clutter, or live in a more minimalistic environment? anything you wish to include that accurately reflects their loft would be perfect! this can be done either via a template or by utilizing tumblr's photoset feature, and again, this task is entirely optional! if you're in need of some moodboard template recommendations, i included some under the cut!
