MWSU Spring ‘21 Graduation

I am proud, excited, nervous and most of all honored to have been chosen to be this year’s commencement speaker for the Spring 2021 graduation. I’m speaking at my own graduation and I can’t believe it! As I prepare my speech, I know that I will be emotion from now up until it’s time for me to give my speech. This is a huge responsibility and I will take this on just as I have everything else during my time here at Missouri Western.

I have 38 days left until graduation! I’m excited, nervous and stressed out. I just have to push through for one more month

KGSM-TV Show #1

Go Griffs Weekly Zoom Series

Tonight I was on the panel to encourage possible incoming freshman to join the Department of Communication and I enjoyed speaking about my experience in the journalism field with Dr. Jennifer Jackson and alumni, Trasean Stepney. Tune in every Tuesday on zoom to learn about the different departments Missouri Western has to offer. Next week will focus on Chemistry, Biology, and Wildlife Conservation!!

What else is in the air?

COVID isn’t the only thing in the air, love is too. Valentine’s Day is coming up fast and I honestly I doubt we’ll see much change in the way people function on Valentine’s Day this year. We were already “Netflix and Chillin”so in the words of Bert Lance, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

The Missouri Western Dance Company is working on a new dance in honor of Black History Month this year. Check out their performance last year for Black History Month. I can’t wait to see what they come up with this year #dance #blackhistory #standup #culture #heritage #MWDC
