PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
1) Gluing the outer design to the packaging and constructing the cylinders
2) Knotting and wrapping the string loop for the plant hanging
3) Painting and colour matching the correct colours for each cylinder design
4) Separating the string strands to glue flat to the base of the circles. I repeated this again for the other circle.
5) Hot glues the circles with the string attacked to the cylinders. I repeated this to the other packaging. I also hot glued the circles wrapped in my packaging design to the base.

I curated a space using the sims 4 and interior decorated a setting for my poster. I had fun compositing the room and making it look realistic as possible. It took me many attempts to get the right angle and approach but in the end I was happy with the results.

Thierry Chow’s works and practice has inspired me to potentially explore making and designing Feng Shui items going into third year. The example of images above have given me inspiration and direction into what I might explore further next year. I am interested in the packaging and brochure design shown in the images and the material she has chosen for both the product and packaging elements. The attention to detail is beautifully done and her contemporary take on Feng Shui home décor items is a great example for my research.
