If the child is allowed to unfold, it will be drawn by a process of natural allurement towards its cosmic task. (Its' Calling ) Maria Montessori. We can waste much of our lives seeking purpose and direction out in the world, only to find that the meaning of our life lies within. The journey towards wholeness and fulfillment is an internal journey, the blueprint was imprinted on our souls at birth. Each of us carries an innate gift, a gift that needs to be discovered, then offered back to the world. We do not need to seek meaning in unknown places, our 'life purpose' is already contained within, ultimately, we are our own destination.

There is a meaning and purpose to every human life. Each and every one of us has a mission or a calling to fulfill. There is no great mystery to this, it has been know since the beginning of recorded history. Plato, in his seminal work, Republic', talked about an inner Daemon, a spirit or guiding entity that encourages us to look inside to discover the actual meaning of our lives. Joseph Campbell, the great mythologist was fond of saying: 'The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.'
