Linda Alterwitz
She is an American photographer who melds Science, nature, and individual. Alterwitz was born during 1960s which would make her 63 years old today. She got a MFA from the University of Denver in 1984. She has been working on these three topics for around 17 years and got several awards and honors from her works like being allowed to exhibit her work in Barrick Museum of Art in Las Vegas. one Book from her works I would like to dive into is "Sanctuary". On her first image from her book without context as an outsider from her work. I think that she just plastered sound waves on a image from gauze cloth. She apparently she intentionally made it that way to signify human trauma with self healing is important way to grow while being in comfort zone. This type of melding science and art on book doesn't make much sense to me because I don't know much about her technical approach. The more I look at her art it would make more sense if she captured sound of the location imbedded on the image to hear image with your eyes.

Douglas Stockdale
He was born in 1949, Pennsylvania who was founder of a Photobook Journal Magazine. Worked for (LACP) Los Angeles Center of Photography. Today he would currently be around 74 years old. He got his education in University of La Verne, California and got Masters, also has Associates in design from Michigan State University. In the beginning of his journey in photography used 35mm camera borrowed from his college with tiny dark room. He later on moved into digital and using the phone some times. On Len scratch I discovered tiny zine made by him called "The Flow of Light Brushes The Shadow". It looks into the mind of how people get anxious about flights and taking pictures of his surroundings. From my perspective all the photos generate a story organized from going into flight and arriving to Hospital that causes the subject to look in despair.

Sarah Hadley
Sarah Hadley was born in Boston and study there to get a degree in Georgetown University and the Corcoran College of Art in Washington, DC. She spent most of her time working in art galleries in Venice, Italy. She is currently 34. In my investigation on Lenscratch.com, I found out about a photographer named Sarah Hadley who created Storyboard called "Lost Venice". Hadley reminisces of time she had with her father while in Venice. The way Hadley captures moments of loss of grief by taking pictures in old photographic print and fading out silhouettes of people disappearing in white void. These tones seem very relatable from what my mom's father last words before he died was that he was he was going to go to a desolate plains. All things must come to end. From my own perspective of the photographs tells us that we should also cherish moments we had with are parents. They don't live forever, my dad always says that if we still had the Egyptian rulers would have us by the neck with their foot. One photograph that stands out to me from the storyboard is picture of the man wandering on the boat. creates a bullseye on the confident man sailing and wandering to blank void.

Lets go see The Pillow Man
For my final theme project, I plan to photograph the behind-the-
scenes of a theater play hosted by Fresno State presenting “The Pillow Man” written by Martin Mcdonagh. Some aspects I will photograph are how the set is designed, the costumes, and the props. This play is about child murder. Aside from that, I will also include little biographies of people who make the magic of theater happen. For example, Mike is in charge of building the set ground up with the help of volunteers as he progresses through the project with wood. So far They have started to gather up the cast, and crew members to get things rolling. Backdrops have yet to be painted, props to be constructed, and costumes to be crafted. My viewers will discover how much effort is put into the theater. They should go see the play for themselves when it is the beginning of May at the John Wright Theater. Together we will learn about the people behind the scenes and their expertise in various crafts in the theater.

Vincent Cianni
Mr. Cianni is an awesome photographer since he connects with his subjects on a personal level. This allows him to photograph the social life of people he knows and cares about.
Mr. Cianni's approach is one in particular good because he does not go in to take photographs like a wildlife photographer. He presents issues that need change and move people's perspectives for things he advocates. Bringing in community projects where he lives is one of his key elements to his craft.
Mr. Cianni uses a 35 mm camera and likes to do journalism, documentary, and street photos. Some of his big accomplishments are graduating from Penn. State University. How he is a big risk taker because he left his own job to pursue the unknown by going to the Berlin wall. Someone who can leave a comfortable lifestyle is like he was a better version of Chris McCandless. His use of monochrome photography in “We Skate Hardcore” tells a compelling story of how the Brooklyn southside was once a thriving community. The way of his process of articulating a group of photos into a story book. Mr. Cianni is always finding new ways to help out the community with some of his recent works like Black Lives Matter and covid awareness.
From my own perspective Mr. Cianni is a good role model for Photography if I plan on doing the same type of work. Making a decision of saving the person rather than taking the best photograph. Some things I could do to elevate my work from learning from Mr. Cianni is to connect with my subjects and add to the picture that the audience doesn't know.

Theme Project Proposal
For my theme project, I plan to photograph the behind-the-scenes of a theater play hosted by Fresno State presenting “Men on Boats” written by Jaclyn Backhaus. In my theme project, some of the photographs will be about what process is not seen when hosting a show. My interest in the Cast of “Men on Boats” takes a different approach to a historical play by casting most of the characters as women. They change up the game of this play to a comedy. During the show, there were times when they had some serious and heated moments because they go on a journey on the Colorado river getting more hungry as they travel by boat day and night. Face hardships to keep the pack of explorers in one group. Some technical issue I will face while photographing is that I could not take photographs while they are acting during some scenes because the play has silent moments. Another issue is that I had to crew backstage on the right side of the stage. It required multitasking because I have to move stuff at certain scene changes and take photos. My main goal is to not distract the audience from my photographs and even the actors as well because they have lines to remember on stage. Some moments of the preshow I could not photograph because it was too personal and kept cast members confident for the show. I want my audience to know that Casting for a show takes time and dedication because when performers start, people assemble to put on a great show. Not many people know that Scene shops and costume shops put a lot of effort into immersing their audience.

On Saturday I went with my parents to Madera to get a new dryer machine because it broke down until its 20 years of usage. Later that day we were expecting visit from my older brother but didn't come so instead we went out to my cousin's fourteenth birthday. Unexpectedly my brother and his girlfriend came home next day after and my mother served them chilaquiles. My mom happily pampered my brother's baby.
