God, I can't wait to see how Salem reacts to the ongoing character arcs over the next few Volumes.

She has been fighting Ozpin for thousands of years. Their relationship is so personal: they were lovers, they were partners, they were parents.

This is her nemesis, her soulmate in a way, they know each better than they know themselves.

And now Ozpin is going to step back and let a teenage girl, a child in her eyes, take over.

She's probably gonna think it's some sort of scheme at first, that he's still pulling strings behind the scenes, but eventually it's going to become clear that Ruby Rose is now in charge of the forces of good, and Ozpin is following her lead.

Imagine the outrage! The shock! The anger! Does this mean so little to Ozpin, after all this time?

And then Ruby starts winning. She starts matching Salem. She starts turning Salem's forces, like Salem has done to Ozpin's time and time again. She inspires stronger loyalty in the people who follow her than Ozpin ever managed.

Imagine Salem realizing after all these years, after millennia of fighting, she's met her match? Her true Nemesis?

Yesterday in History

Yesterday in history one of the greatest women in history passed away. Ruth Bader Ginsburg. A judge on the supreme court, RBG was a trailblazer. The first woman to get a supreme court sheet, she fought for equality for all. She has written books, and impacted many people's lives and the history of America forever.

Life:

Appointed by Bill Clinton and sworn in, in 1993, Ginsburg had a need to bring justice to the world. Even before being a judge, Ginsburg fought for women's rights. Organizing rallies and giving debates, she fought for gender equality. The second woman to serve on the supreme court, you did not mess with her. The oldest serving justice on the court, and inductee to the National Women's hall of fame, She also became the first Jewish person to serve on the supreme court.

Ginsburg laughed in the face of adversity. Having lost a mother to cancer and herself getting it, being a woman, and motherhood while pursing education, life was anything but easy. However, she never stopped fighting. Her legacy is to not let anything define you and too keep fighting for justice, no matter how hard it is. She encouraged us to be our own person and pursue what we choose. Ruth Bader Ginsburg will not be forgotten. May her life and legacy live on through the ages.
