“So... what’re you doing now then?” He asked, not at all deterred. “If you don’t need to do your job right now, why’re you still standing guard?”
The brick truck stopped circling Krupp, instead skating to stand next to him, imitating the armaments truck’s posture.

With his arms crossed, Krupp stared down the brick truck in front of him. He seemed mildly unimpressed, and he was.
Honestly, he wasn't sure what the other wanted from him. He was tempted to ask, but stuck to pointed silence instead.

He paused, a handful of cereal already halfway to his mouth. “Uhhh.... do you want me to?” He asked, glancing up at Wrench. “Probably, uh, not very ‘polite’ eating like this, right?” He asked, laughing awkwardly.
“Give me attention.”
Wrench looked annoyed at the flat car.
“What d'you want from me?” She sighed, but was curious what Flat Top wanted from her.

" Mhm. " CB nodded along, like the information was life and death to him.
" 's cause they care about ya, as stupid as that sounds. " The caboose said nonchalantly, rolling over and sitting down next to Flat-top. He hadn't finished his drink yet, but he was getting close.
Flat-Top nodded. “Yeah, I know...” He muttered, already starting to feel his focus slipping. “It’s- s’always for stupid stuff though, not ever a big deal... don’t.. don’t need grounding for it...
He tried to sit up straight again, but instead just ended up laying down even further. He laughed slightly, looking over at CB. “I f-fell over..” He giggled, clearly already tipsy.

CB tutted at Flat-Top, hands on his hips.
" Really ? " He asked. " Again ? "
This was the second time in 3 weeks that this had happened.
" You gotta be more careful when skating ! " He knelt down, gently taking a hold of the brick trucks leg. " Is it your knee ? "

Flat-Top eagerly accepted the kiss, placed his hands onto Joule’s hips and running small circles over them with his thumbs. “You wanna do it right here, huh?” He asked, breaking the kiss momentarily. He smirked. “I like that.”
“Stop shining that flashlight on me! I’m not a damn ghost!” (Terrible first meeting starters)
Joule giggled sweetly. "But you look like one! And it's fun to annoy you." She grinned before shining the flashlight back into the brick trucks eyes.

“Oh, uh... her name’s Roxy, she’s a private-hire coach.” He mumbled, his cheeks going even pinker just thinking of her. “I’m pretty lucky she’s even looked at me. But.. I really wanna make a better impression on the first date, and this ain’t it..” He glanced down at himself again.
“Oi, Pearl. I need your help.” ~ brick-truck
@brick-truck
" Help ? " Pearl replied, sounding confused before pointing to herself. " From me ? "
She gave the brick truck a hesitant look before, giving a small nod. " What do you need help with ? " She asked, sounding curious and baffled at once.

“Yeah, they’re fine.” He muttered, just as another horrible noise sounded from his wheels. He tried his best to ignore it, as well as the fact it felt harder to actually move his wheels.
After only a short while, his wheels crunched again and completely stopped. Not expecting to suddenly stop, the brick truck cursed loudly as he stumbled and crashed into the fence beside the track. He lay there for a few moments, stunned.
“You’re not the person I wanted to see today.”
The corner of Rusty’s mouth tugged downwards.
“ What’s got you in such a bad mood this time, Flat-Top ? “ The steam engine questioned, his brows furrowing in mild irritation.

Flat-Top's a little surprised that Greaseball agreed, but he doesn't argue. Instead he readies himself, and starts throwing punches at the diesel's midsection -the highest point he can comfortably reach- as hard and fast as he can.
He's not sure how much damage he's doing, but he's determined to show Greaseball his (minimal) strength.
“Hey, GB. I wanna fight.” (brick-truck)
@brick-truck
He looks down at Flat Top as if he's lost his mind. "You do realize who you're going up against right? And why in the world do you want to fight me anyway?"
His brow furrows as he looks the brick truck over.

Flat-Top raised an eyebrow. “Oh yeah?” He grinned, eagerly kissing her back and pulling her a little closer. “Well, I can hardly say no to that kind of offer, can I?”

He rolled his eyes. “Home, obviously! Now get a move on, I wanna go home and sleep. M’tired.”
That was one of the many reasons Flat-Top was always so irritable; he rarely ever slept well, and he had to trudge through the day on only a couple hours of rest. He’d be lucky to sleep through the whole night.
“You’re not the person I wanted to see today.”

Flt-Top took a while to respond, scuffing his wheels against the ground and glancing around.
“Well, uh, y’see...” His face was flushed red, and he was clearly struggling to get his words out. “I- I scored a date with this real pretty coach from another yard, but I was hopin’ to make myself a bit more..” He gestured to himself, “-presentable, I guess? Thought you’d be the best person to go to..”

Flat-Top nodded, waiting for the workmen to load him up,absentmindedly rolling his wheels along the track.
He frowned as he heard the crunching sound again, but brushed it off. He waited until the last of the bricks were loaded, then nodded. "Right, we can go now."
“You’re not the person I wanted to see today.”

He frowned slightly as Rusty went silent; that... didn’t feel as good as he’d thought it would. He’d been noticing that more often, making fun of the steamer wasn’t as enjoy as it used to be.
“Um... sorry, I guess..” He mumbled, his face going red with embarrassment. He wasn’t good with apologies.

Flat-Top scowled, gripping Rusty’s couplings even tighter in response. “Oh c’mon, aren’t ya ‘The Starlight’ or summat? Surely a few nasty words ain’t gonna slow ya down.” He pouted mockingly, raising an eyebrow.
His attention shifted when he heard a quiet crunching sound, coming from his wheels, he glanced down breifly, before quickly shrugging it off. It wasn’t like he was gonna go see Wrench about it, no way.

Flat-Top eagerly opened the pack, starting to eat the cereal directly from it; it didn’t occur to him to ask for a bowl.
He paused for a moment as Wrench spoke, then shrugged and nodded. “Fair enough. Your business, not mine.” He muttered, going back to eating.
“Give me attention.”
Wrench looked annoyed at the flat car.
“What d'you want from me?” She sighed, but was curious what Flat Top wanted from her.

Flat-Top shrugged. “I dunno, Poppa said he’d sort it out. Call Electra if you want, maybe he forgot to tell you. But you’re stuck with me for the day, alright?”
He began skating in slow circles around Krupp. “So, what do you do all day? Just stand here looking bored?”

He shrugged, draining the last of his drink and placing the empty bottle on the table. “Well my knee still bloody hurts obviously, apart from that I’ve basically just been stuck with Poppa an’ Belle trying to ground me for a bunch of stupid crap. I’m not their kid or anything, don’t get why they think they’re in charge of me.”
Flat-Top leant back, folding his arms. His face was still flushed red, although now it was partially thanks to the alchohol too; the brick truck was a serious lightweight.
