After @claudianerinacortese and @a_little_wild_thing do their thing, join us and get blown away by #feminist #performance #art #poetry at @lipsnewark 7-9pm Angela Kariotis is winner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts Playwriting Fellowship and National Performance Network Creation Fund Award. Shes been presented by NJPAC, UCLA, University of Texas and the Hip Hop Theater Festival. She's a teaching artist who believes in art making as a liberators practice. She's currently developing her latest interdisciplinary series, "The Dog Poems." (at Living Incubator Performance Space)

Joining @claudianerinacortese on June 13th is another feminist poet powerhouse @a_little_wild_thing !!! @lipsnewark is excited to open up our June reading at 7pm with this luso-Greek-American SlamPoet extraordinaire! Learn more about Ann Marie below: Ann Marie Manso is a writer and teacher from northern New Jersey. A nationally ranked performance poet, she has represented New Jersey at four international competitions. She is currently the Co-Slammaster of Jersey City Slam. Her first self-published chapbook will be released by the end of the year.
