Comments will include grammar and usage corrections; canon-picking if I know the canon; my initial reactions and questions as I read; suggestions on wording and flow; and any notes on characterization and plot issues and suggestions for addressing them.

I am happy to look at original work or at fanfic for any source except Harry Potter; if you want canon-picking, feel free to message me before bidding and ask if I know the canon. Any rating or pairing is fine; smut is more than fine--the only subject matter I'm not willing to beta is animal harm. Hello! I'll be offering fanfic slots for the emergency fundraiser being ran by @bishopmyrielfundraiser in response to ongoing ICE violations and in support of anti ICE protests happening in Los Angeles. Funds are being raised for groups organising against ICE and/or towards legal support costs for protestors facing arrest and repression.

What I'll write: Les Mis is my preferred fandom and the one I know the best but I could be convinced to write for different fandoms if I know the canon (the easiest way to check this is searching for your fandom on my main blog @quillsand)

Happy to write in either modern au or canon era or something else, any characters or pairing (though I am more experienced in the les amis side of the fandom.) Also happy to write sequels/spin-offs/more fics set in the same verse as my existing fics (which you can find here). Crossovers are fine if I know the canon/if you can adequately explain the canon to me! NSFW content and major character death are fine but nothing that would require any other archive warnings.

I'll ask you for your prompt, including characters, setting, situation, etc. Feel free to be as detailed or as sparse as you want. I'll aim to have it finished within the next month as I'm hoping to have some free time coming up!

Genuinely fascinated by the genere of posts I've been inexplicably seeing where people are like 'oh Greta thunberg she's so stupid, she KNEW if she went on that boat they'd get detained, she's just doing it for publicity' my good fuckos she's MAKING A FUCKING POINT

A ship full of aid workers and medical and humanitarian supplies, crewed by Western Europeans™ has been illegally boarded and detained by Israeli forces in INTERNATIONAL WATERS

The point of this is to show the world that Israel isn't adhering to any kind of rule of law, and to make a desperate bid for the countries to which that crew belongs (which have an obligation to at least TRY to get their people back) to get their fucking fingers out.

They filled that ship with food and medicine SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE they knew it would be stopped, to prove to people who may not be following the Gaza occupation closely, that Israel isn't behaving in a reasonable manner. There is NO REASON for the military capture of an aid ship crewed by foreign nationals in, again, INTERNATIONAL WATERS, unless the primary goal is the denial of humanitarian aid. That's the POINT

I wasn’t actually planning to post this today, because I’ve been trying and failing to finish it for months. But everyone’s amazing art and writing yesterday left me feeling quite inspired and it all came together. So to go with yesterday’s prologue, here’s an epilogue for the 6th…
