i'm partway through prospero burns and i have two issues with it so far

the first is that while we're told the space wolves are the emperor's executioners, the legion that does what the other legions can't or won't, we don't actually see any evidence of that before we get to nikaea. (the quietude work pretty well as a narrative foil/stand-in for the imperium, but they didn't need the space wolves to deal with them - the space wolves just happened to be there.)

the second is that dan abnett keeps using the phrase "wet leopard" to describe the sounds the space wolves make and i need him to stop
