Take Note Obama Haters, The White House Is Giving Just Voice
Drove to Johnson City, TX, the boyhood home of LBJ. He, with his one brother, three sisters, and his parents, lived in a modest house from five years until he went to college. Their ranch, the family homestead, was having financial problems. So his father tried real estate, politics, and anything else, which would bring food to his family's table. AARP may be the problem. I joined them when I turned 50, but it did not take long for me to decide that they were more interested in selling insurance than advocating for seniors. The clincher for me was reading their political platforms during national elections. I no longer belong to AARP. Financially, the future looks cloudy for people my age. Today's 28 pt. headline on The Huffington Post blares: "Trustees: Recession Quickly Depleting Social Security, Medicare rate Funds." Social Security running low on money? Suddenly it all became clear to me. Conservatives who tried unsuccessfully to privatize Social Security during the Bush administration actually had a more diabolical plan underway. Economic suicide. Bring down the American economy and you take Social Security with it. Whoohoo! If we can't win, nobody wins. The first box is Emp#. This is your employee number that is assigned through payroll. This one does not have relevance unless your HR department asks you to supply this to them as a routine part of how they identify you before speaking with you about a problem or question with your pay. Make sure the country offers what you want to do or enjoy. If you enjoy city-based interests - like museums and art galleries - don't set yourself up in a remote and rural area. Choose your locations appropriately for golfing, beaches, community centers, etc. The only real difference between these plans is the price. "Company A" might charge $165 per month for Plan F and "Company B" might charge $115 per month for the same Plan F. That is a savings of $50 per month or $600 per year. I don't know about you, but I think that color looks much better on you! Next step is to deduct voluntary deductions, which include for example benefits sponsored by your company. When you signed your contract with the company, you have agreed to these benefits. And that is why they are called "voluntary deductions". Common types of such benefits are retirement benefits, dental and medical benefits, life insurance, parking allowance, etc. To get the latest updates from Atlanta Holistic Health Examiner Tina Ranieri 'click' the subscribe button above.
