New Release Day! One winter day I walked around Soulard for a friend, taking photos of interesting sites. I've always loved the Soulard Farmers Market because it's a beautiful architectural building, and visiting on the weekend is a super fun way to get great produce, spices, flowers, and even awesome small bites to eat. I never noticed how you can see the Gateway Arch in the background and I had to snap this photo for them. I love the way the details of the windows pop in the watercolor version, and I can almost hear vendors and patrons haggling, talking, and the smells of the spice shop wafting as I walk by.

I absolutely love going on the Budweiser Brewery Tour for a lot of reasons, but getting that up-close shot of the brewery sign is definitely one of the top reasons (oh, and the free beer). Some of the coolest architecture in St. Louis is on this brewery tour, and it's fun to revisit every couple years for a new outlook.

Gotta love rolling down the Potomac in a kayak, just having a super relaxing sunny day. Beautiful West Virginia mountains in the background and trees surrounding you at every turn. That's what I loved about West Virginia. All the trees. I'd never seen so much dense forest in one place. It made me feel safe and protected. That's what I hope this image does for whatever space you put it in.

Driving along the two-lane highway in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan, we caught a fantastic sunrise along the snowy beach. January and February are great times to visit the UP, and I loved taking a quiet winter vacation. Cozy and serene.

Weekend New Drop!

One of the things I love about driving to a destination is that you happen upon some amazingly beautiful sights along the way. We left the Upper Peninsula in Michigan super early in the morning, so by the time we reached we lighthouse, the sun was just coming up. If you're looking for some winter magic in your house, this snowy lighthouse sunrise photo definitely recreates some of the magic from a quiet February morning.

Seattle’s Pike Place Market is a great place to snap a shot. Especially when you’ve had three sunny days in a row with no rain. I love remembering the cool breeze on that day with this watercolor version.
