 Ara rolled her eyes but grinned anyway.

"Early," she said,     not completely answering his question              for   she  was  worried  that  he would  be  irritated              that she woke him up at 4 am. 

 It  was  the  summer  and she was spending some time at  the shell cottage with the Weasley family.

"I  couldn't  sleep  and  I  was  curious if you'd like to walk  down to the beach with me. You don't have to, of course."

I go through phases. Somedays I feel like the person I’m supposed to be, and then somedays, I turn into no one at all. There is both me and my silhouette. I hope that on the days you find me and all I am are darkened lines, you still are willing to be near me.

 Ara  hesitated  for  a moment before sitting next to Casi.  She gave her a small smile. She needed to ask someone  these  questions  and she wasn't comfortable asking her  parents about it.           Casi was always so bold with her  sexuality,  to a point it made her wonder––  could she be  anything like that?

"It's about–– oh, Merlin, this is embarrassing–– Okay, I'm  just  curious  on  how  you  can  be so carefree and bold  about... intimate things.  You see, I fancy this bloke but I  don't  think  he  sees  me in that sort of light because I'm  so–– Well, I'm a bit frigid, some would say."

— She’s known for being a bitch, but a LOYAL one.  Ara’s questions are entirely safe with her — locked  in a vault that nobody has access to. Casi’s eyes  flick up to meet her friend’s and she shoves her  work to the side — inviting Ara to sit.

 Ara  met Suul's eyes,   trying to find any hint of mocking or hesitation. It wasn't that she didn't trust him,  because she did, it was that she didn't trust the question; why would he want to kiss HER?
