Transport

Bright Learners Private School is pleased to offer bus service for children. The bus service is run by Busco Transportation and they offer transport to the majority of areas covered as per the below table. All buses are fully compliant with Road Transport Authority (RTA) regulations and have a dedicated female Bus Attendant to assist the children in the buses.

Uniform

Uniforms can be purchased from the School uniform shop located near the admin wing. Shop hours are Monday and Wednesday - 7:45am to 8.30am; 2.00pm to 3:00pm. The Uniform shop will be open on all days in August and September months and at the beginning of each term for parents’ convenience.

Learning Support

Learning Support teachers play an important role in the educational experience for students of determination. They are equally involved in co-planning, co-assessing, and delivering co-instruction with the classroom teacher in order to provide exceptional care and support for students of determination.

Monitoring Development & progress

They will support General education teachers in the adaptation and modification of instruction. They must monitor student development & progress through on-going assessment. LST teachers will collaborate with General education teachers and staff in order to create and implement the accommodations and modifications enumerated in the IEP. According to the 2017-18 DSIB School Inspection supplement, the classroom teacher is responsible for the modification, implementation and outcomes of the students’ educational programs. LST teachers will be assigned a caseload of SOD students and manage their IEPs and ensure that the supports entailed in the educational plan are appropriate.

Middle School

Teachers build upon the foundation skills learned in elementary school, combined with sound teaching practices and an understanding of developmental changes physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Emphasis is placed on learners' self-esteem and confidence to encourage them to become independent thinkers and assertive problem solvers. Elementary School

Teachers promote early literacy through library sciences, social interactions, and language-rich activities helping students develop letter recognition, encoding, decoding, and print awareness. Pre-K/ Kindergarten

Bright Learners Private School offers a robust Kindergarten curriculum following the Common Core standards from the state of Massachusetts.
