It's difficult for me to put into words how much this one hurts. Johnny Gaudreau was a great player and made a mark wherever he went. You will be missed forever by the hockey world.

I know this is going to sound weird, but hockey means the world to me. Spending last night sitting behind the Providence Bruins bench was not only the experience of a lifetime, but it brought me a beautiful slice of home I haven't had in 2 years.

The photos below are of Jesper Boqvist. He played for the Boston Bruins just this past preseason and some games over the beginning of the regular season. I was so excited to be within a foot of him as I loved watching him play on TV in the preseason. There were a few other players on the bench that had played for Boston, but Boqvist had really stuck out to me. I don’t know why, but he did.

Sitting in the middle of Cleveland, watching an AHL hockey game, getting a stick and a puck, watching a player I recognized as well as learning new names, and watching my hometown team kick ass, made me fall in love with hockey all over again. Thank you, Providence Bruins, for the best hockey game I've ever been to. 🖤💛🤍
