quick announcement!

this blog is going on hiatus for the next week or two. I’m traveling and won’t have the chance to play ClanGen. But I’ll get back at it once I’m home!

have a Dogleaf!

This man gives me so much dad energy it’s not even funny and I have no idea why. He is just. A Dad.

I interpret his boldness quite simply as recklessness. He gets himself into a lot of trouble. The unfortunate part (at least according to his clanmates) is that he’s really good at getting himself back out of it. So he never learns anything from it.

The only time he’s ever been unable to work from an injury is when he got water in his lungs (twice). I think Shadowstar must have sarcastically told him to go swim with the fishies and he. Did that. To prove a point. And he was so sure of his own ability to swim that he almost drowned.

Dogleaf is one of my favorites, can you tell?

If I’m being honest, this girl hasn’t had very much to do just yet. She’s starting to get up there in years and with that and her losing her daughter (Juniperthistle) I imagine she’s probably not as energetic as her personality trait would imply.

I think “daring” in her case means something closer to just “fearless”, rather than the grand/bold connotation that daring tends to have. especially when combined with her skill being fighting- girlie just wants to get it over with and got home, so she got Very Good at it to achieve that.
