I live where it rains. I am addicted to newsletters, coffee, clean cooking, and Mad Men. I am in love with the most amazing fella and my life has blossomed in so many ways because of him. I have an orange cat named Olive. I plan to spend my life loving God and loving/serving others. I document the stories of my life -- those that deserve elaboration, illustration, and illumination.

Text
Reading the words we used to say to each other is heart wrenching. All the thoughts, hopes, wishes that we wrote out as confessions and monologues. We weren’t really writing to each other, we were just writing down what was inside of us and sending it so we didn’t feel so confined and chained to it. We set it free and washed our hands of it.
That’s all fine and dandy until you read those things when you’re 28, moments away from quitting your job, and afraid that you have nothing left to say about this life. It’s a turn of the knife and salt on the wound.
I supposed the difference now is that I know what I want and I know how to care for it. Back then it was a mess. I was a mess. We all were.
How did I ever have such life in me? I’ve gotta get my pulse back.
