When i stop crying it’s for thinking one thing : this chapter is entitled : “The Wings of Freedom”.
Need another evidence to understand she was the one who embodied the best Survey Corps’ values ?
Erwin welcoming her and telling her she did well, need another evidence that Erwin wouldn’t have sided with pro-rumbling ?
I’m thinking about this and then i get back to cry cause i love her so fucking much it’s insane. I really do not enjoy this, Isayama, you did well

Thing I love about Hange Zoe (Spoilers)
Puts importance in Hope, tries to see things in a different perpective, tries to keep investigating and find a solution.
Also puts importance in UNDERSTANDING. She tells Armin in 132 that it's what a survey corps commander should do.
Again, her motto is sth like "if you don't understand/know something, just learn to do so". She says something similar twice: first refering to titans and then with marleyans
Always tries to understand the enemies (titans, pastor nick, marley volunteers, the warriors, eren, floch and the yeagerists), even work with them for the greater good, but of course is 100% intolerant with genocide because it's objectively evil (love your enemies but not sin). She's aware of the horrible consequences of the never ending cycle of hatred and violence (we can see that she struggles with what Sannes told her in the cell before).
She believes everyone has instrinsic worth, even their enemies, so it's not okay to just wipe everyone out to achieve "peace". We can see it since s1 her fascination and sympathization with titans, despite all the suffering they caused. We later know that titans were actually human so they actually do have human worth (and hange somehow knew that subconsciously at least)
However she's also not a suicidal pacificist. She's willing kill if it's for protecting people who are important for her (levi for example) and fight against eren to save humanity as a whole.
A very selfless person. Dedicated her whole life for humanity. In ch 126 & 127. She expresses how she wanted to run away from all the problems and maybe stay and hide in the woods. But even before levi tires to encourage her not to, she already had made up her mind to not stay still and decides to go find for a solution. She later sacrifices herself for the others.

She cooks

She heals

She leads

She fights

She take care

She protects

She thinks

She's kind

She's funny and beautiful

Hange is literally the heart of the Survey corps and the most useful character in attack on titan.

One aspect of Hange's character that I don't think people really focus on becaus ooh look it's the cRaZy ScIenCe lady is how kind she is.
I mean look:

"Nice to meet you,Historia" it wouldn't be a stretch to say that this might be the first time Historia has heard these words.

Again with Flegel who has just lost a parent.

Her waiting patiently for Connie despite being his superior officer.

And this one is pretty self explanatory.
Hange is so so kind it hurts and you can't tell me that the kids didn't adore her.

Hi April! I saw you were taking requests so I decided to pop in the one idea that has been destroying me for a long time and I'd ABSOLUTELY love to see in your style: Hange as Icarus from Greek mythology, wings melting as they fly too close to what they admired. No pressure ofc. A very happy new year to you and gosh, I miss seeing you in my dash already
Ness, this request hurts me more than I thought it would. I think I told you that this is one of my favorites and it really is. I made two variations because I couldn't decide on either. This is actually my third attempt because the first one I didn't like. And the second one hurts more than this one so I backed out lol
Thank you @glassesandswords for requesting. I'm sleeping with tears in my eyes

listen…. middle aged ships are my jam. there’s something hopeful about seeing two older people fall in love (or still being in love) on my screen.
give me two workaholics who realise there’s more to life than their job when they meet each other.
give me two people who’ve been to hell and back together for years and have always had each others backs.
give me two people who’ve been married for decades and are more in love than ever.
give me two lonely people thrown together in a life or death situation and let them realise they wouldn’t want anyone else by their side.
give me two people who’ve been heartbroken more times than they can count who find hope in each other.
GIVE ME OLDER SHIPS

I have seen several posts on Twitter saying that Hange will never be as good as Erwin and that she is a useless character. Especially now that she is a commander.
First, are we reading the same manga? Because Hange has been one of the most important, versatile and useful characters in the manga and anime.

But in case you had forgotten, here are some of Hange's contributions:
- Considered a genius due to her great intelligence.
- It is considered good in combat and even has a particular way of using the ODM gear.
- Thanks to Hange’s research and scientific knowledge, it was possible to learn more about the titans and Erwin himself recognizes that Hange’s discoveries have served a lot for all the missions.
- Helped Eren understand and develop his powers as a Titan.
- Created important and very useful artifacts that are use in missions, such as: Titan Traps, Thunder Spears, Executioner from Hell.
- Before becoming a commander, she was captain and leader of a squad and she was always good as a leader.
- As the new commander she took on all of Erwin's responsibilities: planning expeditions, recruiting, strategies, managing the regiment, making important decisions. It is also important to mention that Hange was forced to take on these responsibilities at the must difficult time. Since a civil war was approaching (Yagerists vs. alliance), a war with the rest of the world (Paradis vs the rest) and in addition, they had to adapt to the new discoveries that existed outside the walls.
Also, let’s not forget that Hange has saved Levi's life basically three times.
🚨 Spoiler Alert! 🚨
1. When Mikasa was about to kill him and Levi could not defend himself because of how exhausted he was from killing all the titans Erwin had asked him to. Hange came to intervene between them and held off Mikasa when she was about to attack him with her blades.

2. The incident with the thunder spear. Hange risked her life to save Levi. Hange took Levi and escapes by diving into the river while being fired upon by Yeagerists on horseback. Then she took care of him for days so he could survive and recover.

3. Spoiler Alert 🚨
This wasn't just for Levi, but Hange sacrifices herself so that the rest of the team could escape (including Levi)

So... The next time someone wants to call Hange useless or not good enough ... I hope you think again before you say anything.

ok, but you guys really realize that Hange was this:

To this:

that scientist called crazy for her love for the mystery of the titans. So smiling. So radiant... I really miss what it was like at the beginning of the anime, and knowing the end of it makes me so-
Hange has always been a creature of an outgoing and curious nature. Probably the only one willing to give herself totally (risking her life) to the research of the titans.
After the end, with the world “on track” she would have loved to explore and discover the world, do research, enjoy everything she was entitled to after her hard years as a soldier.
I can't settle for the ending
Hange Zoe deserved more
Hange Zoe deserved to be happy
