Call Me Crazy, But… - Final Chapter ♥️

Dany wakes, her eyes fluttering open slowly. She’s warm, comfortable, safe. She feels Jon’s chest against her back, his arms wrapped around her, his hand on her thigh. She can tell by how relaxed he is that he hasn’t woken. And she decides she wants to soak up as much of this as she can.

She’d felt a disconnect between them after her father’s message, which was the last thing she wanted. He’d taken everything from her, but he couldn’t take this.

She rolls slowly to face him, careful not to wake him and nuzzles into his neck. He pulls her tighter to him and she gently kisses his chest, wrapping her arms around him and tangling her legs with his.

She tries to fall back to sleep, but her thoughts are running wild. She knows it’s mental how deeply she’s fallen for him in such a short amount of time, but she knows there’s no going back. Not that she would want to. But she feels him in every part of her now, like a part of her heart is just laying here outside of her body.

“I can feel you overthinking” he mumbles.

Sooo I got a new phone a while back and ngl, totally forgot to sign back in to tumblr 🫣 but I got an email about this ask yesterday and thought “surely it hasn’t been a year?”

Welp. It has 🤦🏼‍♀️

Those of you that I talk to daily/weekly know how insane my life can be but that was a huge eye opener as to how quick it really goes by 😂

Anyway, GOOD NEWS! (ish?)

I finished the final chapter of CMCB a few weeks ago. But just didn’t love it. So I’ve been making some tweaks/adding some things when I have time and I think it will be ready to post by Sunday at the latest. Maybe sooner. I think maybe I’m just not ready to part with it 🤣

I know some of you have also messaged me or left comments waiting for a BAU update. I have been working on this as well, but I plan on posting the last two chapters at once so that it’s just done with. I will always love it but it became much more than I ever anticipated and I’m ready to give it the ending it deserves. No idea as to timeline though 😬

…Ideally before I post my next project? 😁🤐

It’s like Jon can see the last ten years flash through her eyes at the exchange.

You have to tell me why you left.

Okay.

The silence in his room is heavy, the only sound as the golden sunlight creeps farther in the pounding of his heart in his ears. Dany remains unmoving in his arms, but he can feel her rapid pulse underneath his palm.

Finally, she exhales shakily, breaking the quiet.

“I’m sorry,” she says, shaking her head a bit. Her eyes cast downwards, lashes fluttering. “I’m just… trying to figure out how to start.”

“You’re so annoying.” She chuckles, shaking her head.

“Am not! I’m willing to suffer just for you.”

“Right, because I’m just sooo insufferable.” She rolls her eyes.

“No little dragon…” he says, swiping her hair behind her ear. “But I suffer every moment of every day that I have to behave with you.” He smirks.

I am 95% done with Chapter Four, I am committed to finishing it today or at least this weekend because I’m in love with it and can’t wait for you guys to read 😂

“Hmmm, Enemies to lovers?” She could picture him annoyingly waggling his eyebrows to tease her.

“Actually, kind of.”

“Well, I’d much rather read about a cheerleader princess falling for the hot drummer bad boy she hates but I suppose it’ll have to do.”

She knows he’s just giving her shit, and at the beginning of all this she did sort of hate him. But now… “I don’t hate you, Jon…”

“Don’t tell me you’re already in love with me, princess?” Gods his voice was sexy.

“In your dreams drummer boy.” She said teasingly.

“Dany, you don’t wanna know about the things you do to me in my dreams.”

Ugh, why did he have to say things like that?

Call Me Crazy But… - Chapter Two

When her class let out, she was surprised to see Jon standing outside the building waiting for her. He smiled when he saw her and held his hand out for her to take. She did, lacing their fingers back together as they were earlier.

She kept looking up at him, her cheeks warm, holding back a grin. His hands were oddly rough and soft all at once, and warm despite the chilly temperatures. She knew it was a matter of time before they started running into their friends, or even better, the exes.

“So you are a PDA guy?” She nudged him, teasing. Jon chuckled at that. “Maybe I am.” He shrugged. “Or maybe I just like seeing the prim and proper Daenerys Targaryen out of sorts, and all because of me.” He smirked.

“Out of sorts, hmm?”

“Oh, aye. Your palms are sweaty, you’re fidgeting, you’re flushed.”

“Am not!”

“You are. It’s alright though. I tend to have that effect on women.”

“Shut up.”
