I’m more concerned about how young skinny junkie Noel Gallagher landed this guy lol. No shade, I’m down bad for Noel too, but it’s still impressive. What hidden charms did this kid have.

Well, he wasn't that young. Noel had just turned 21 and Clint was 28; a normal age gap for any couple in the late 80s but especially unremarkable for m/m relationships, where age gaps of 15+ years were always very common.

And he was a pothead, but not a junkie. Noel never was a junkie (which usually refers specifically to heroin addiction) He didn't start using cocaine until a couple of years into his gig with the Inspirals, and it was a problem for them once he became a regular user and it affected his work.

Clint and Graham both say Noel was massive fun to have around. They describe him as smart, funny, with a huge store of knowledge about music, sports, and culture, and full of shady tricks, which they loved because they are tricksters themselves.
