            i know i know i joked about steve being soooooo uncomfortable about all the sin on the dash but i feel like it’s a good time to really start talking about some n.sfw headcanons involving everyone’s favorite CAPTAIN AMERICA steve rogers.  

            1.  like the good guy he is, steve is set to serve - both his country, the people - and his lovers.  everyone has talked about body worship before, but they’ve never had someone like steve. as an artist, he takes his time - exploring every single inch of canvas - every flaw and imperfection on skin, every freckle, birth mark, will let his fingers whisper every curve and his lips taste every inch that he can.  there are no quickies and short amounts of time, not if he has a say in it - with such nimble and strong fingers, slightly calloused from the brushes he uses to paint and wielding the shield, he’d spend all day watching his lovers writhe under his touch or his tongue.  

           2.  adding on to number one, his favorite form of worship is spent between the legs of his partners, beard against the soft and sensitive skin and absolutely loving the way that they taste. it’s his favorite past time ( aside from the strawberry ice cream he goes after ) he’ll hold their hand as they come and keep going until he’s served a second round.  ( and yeah, you wanna pull his hair? do that. the sound might surprise you. ) 

           3.    steve is naturally a lover ; his time in war has made him soft in ways that violence hasn’t made him.  the torture he has seen and experienced has made him steer away from being too rough with his partners, but sometimes when the mood hits right or they’re so in the moment, that somewhat shy and quiet guy can turn feral, chesty growls and deep thrusts - splintered headboards under his hands and broken bed frames.  also, he is a super soldier so   …    steve can last a while. will go again. and again. and again.  

          4.  language.  we all know steve rogers to be the one who doesn’t let the bad words slip his lips, that is unless he’s with his partners - again, getting so swept up in them, he will not shy away from those breathy little whispers of ‘fuck’ right into their ear.  

         5.   and specifically for bucky, there is always a difference in the desperate way he says b-bucky and how he growls james against the hallow of his throat.

when steve rogers tells you to come in for a kiss….well. you obey orders. he’d been away for a while, off doing something he couldn’t say. the redhead understood, even if it made her slightly really moody when he was off on a mysterious mission with no details. she liked to know. she liked to understand the dangers and whatnot of what he was doing. sometimes it wasn’t always possible, but. didn’t mean she had to like it. after crawling into his lap where he had sat on the couch to beckon her, lyd had used both hands to cup around the back of his neck before she’d leaned in to kiss him nice and slow. after she pulled back and rested her head against his was when he spoke, saying those two words. “…mmm, only for you. except when i’m a bad girl. sometimes you like her better.”

sometimes missions keep him away for far too long, and he finds himself wishing he was back home.  back to some . . . normal way of life, where he was more than this captain america and more of just ... steve rogers.  sometimes he’s gone just a few days, but ones like this require more time, and he knows lyd will be on edge when he’s back - an anxious mess for not having heard from him.   so when he strolls into the door, bag slung by it, he sits upon the couch and watches her move across the room.  god, she’s beautiful - even as tension coils against her frail shoulders.  ‘’    come here.      ‘’     is not a demand ; but she comes to him anyway, wanting and willing with every last bit of what she is.  a kiss that grounds him back to the now, back to here, back to her - and one hand cups her cheek, smirking at her words.  ‘’    sometimes,     ‘’     a coo - lips melding with her nice and slow ; a simple kiss that stirs in his chest.       ‘’      you’re always my best girl, lyd.       ‘’
