First one is goldfish stede too… my idea for the AU is stede getting captured by poachers and kept for a while before getting “saved” by blackbeard’s crew…

but they also keep him a prisoner due to mermaids being supposedly very dangerous + worth a lot of money BUT ed is genuinely really fascinated by him and the only one who keeps talking to stede while everyone else is wary of stede’s sharp teeth and claws and massive tail…. and ed keeps ordering the crew to make things more comfortable for him lmao

though ed also can’t bring himself to free stede because he doesnt want to never see him again and he’s BLACKBEARD, he’s not supposed to free prisoners….

mermaids also cry pearls in this AU, and stede cries a lot so. izzy is enjoying the free pearls asdlkfjasd;lfaj

i think my favorite thing about the 2012 movie’s impact on the les mis fandom is that we all kind of collectively agreed that fra fee is kind of Base Courfeyrac and most of the designs i see still take something from his appearance and incorporate it. we love that

imagine you’re a citizen of ba sing se and this new tea shop just opened up and has good reviews so you figure you’ll try it out. you get there and there’s this kinda rude scarred server but the tea is actually really good so you start to frequent it. then it suddenly mysteriously stops operating and you find out it’s because the owner and server vanished. then a couple months after that you find out that was the new FIRELORD???

So to show solidarity for Eurovision 2020 getting cancelled due to Covid-19, I suggest that on May 16th we all collectively either :
