i think my favorite thing about the outfit i shoved yakuzapollo into is the fact i get to draw him in a black button-up now

Would yazuka Apollo have a tattoo?

I kind of assume he would, given the commonality of having that sort of thing for yakuza. I’d want to think on what it’d actually be/look like though, since I’d like it to have some sort of deeper meaning or tie in to plot/backstory.

He’d hide the shit out of it via always wearing long sleeves and collared shirts, maybe even making the excuse that he has scars he’d rather not have visible. However, I like the idea of him suddenly finding himself being forced to rip his button-up off due to whatever reason (boiling water spill? Caught on fire?), much to the shock of his coworkers…

I feel like there's more i could add? but I know I'll think of things as I keep trying to develop the idea. And before you say anything no i did not choose a white suit bc of kiryu. i just like the look of white suits

To be fair. my ass needed to spitball some ideas for a yakuza Apollo design, so...

It's actually crazy to me that Apollo just up and says this? Out loud? When Trucy is like, very obviously within hearing range?

Like obviously she would find out either way given Dhurke koolaid-mans his way through the door within like, genuine seconds of this line being spoken, but Apollo certainly didn't know that.

(If he did, he'd be busy locking himself in his office, no doubt)

I think the most reasonable way of looking at it is that Apollo wanted to reveal his whole backstory and everything after the whole incident with Nahyuta, but he wasn't really sure how to do it, and frankly didn't want to, so it's like... an effort to casually give Trucy a little information? So he has to commit to telling her (and by extension, everyone else in the office) everything later.
