Special treat by the National Theatre Live: “Frankenstein”, online for free on YT until May 7. This is the version in which Benedict Cumberbatch plays the monster and Jonny Lee Miller plays Frankenstein.
The other version with their roles swapped goes online tonight and will also be available for one week.
I watched last night and it really is a good play with great acting. They really bring the heart of Mary Shelley’s famous gothic novel to life. Dark and deep and tragic. Enjoy, fellow theatre buffs!
