I'm alive. I'm a new person, but I also revisit my old self on a daily basis. Having a child is a shortcut to having a new life. Things have never been more different than they are now. And also remarkably the same. Like I've put a tree tapper into my brain and some water is leaking out from my past. I'm old now, with old eyes, and old ears, when I smell the scent of my old water, it isn't so bad anymore. I can do new things with it now. An old dog with new tricks. Hey, how have you been? I've missed you.
