I have to offer: AU snippet where Tim travels back in time to Knightfall and bothers Helena about it :)

Helena's apartment had been invaded. There was a cape hanging over the back of her couch, a pair of boots tossed haphazardly on the floor, and curled up on her couch balancing a laptop at an uncomfortable looking angle with an open bag of chips next to him, was a familiar teenage boy in green tights and a sweatshirt.

She set her groceries down on the counter "What," she said, "are you doing here?"

Robin looked up. "Helena!" he said with far too much enthusiasm for someone she teamed up with once and who was now acting far too comfortable in her space. "It's a long story." He wasn't, she noticed, wearing his mask this time.

The show of trust was appreciated, she had to admit. The showing up without warning was not. Helena crossed her arms and gave him the do you want to try that again look she'd perfected on her students.

He grinned back, unphased.

"My apartment is not a clubhouse, kid."

"I'm here for business," he said, unconvincingly. "I have a proposal."

"Which is?"

"How would you like to become Batman?"

"Excuse me?"

He had a whole presentation prepared, it turned out. Apparently that was what he'd been doing while eating her chips.

"Sorry," he said unconvincingly when she pointed this out.

Helena sighed. "Just show me this presentation."

"You know what happened to Batman," Robin said. In case she didn't remember, the first slide had the picture of Batman being tossed down into the streets by Bane that every news station had been running for the past week.

Helena nodded. "Yes."

"Well that left Gotham in a bit of a mess..."

Point 1 of Robin's argument: Gotham needed Batman. This was argued with a fervent sense of bone deep conviction on Robin's part and also graphs. Lots of graphs.

"I get it," Helena said, after he'd been talking for at least five minutes. "I think you can move on."

He made a face at her, but skipped past at least half a dozen more graphs to get to point 2: Batman's chosen replacement sucked for reasons including assassin brainwashing, not listening, and also more graphs of predicted casualty reports.

"Where did this data come from?" she asked, looking closer. There were some awfully specific points on that graph...

Robin skipped forward. "Not important. Just trust me on this," he said, sounding untrustworthy.

"So why me?" she asked when he finally got to the end.

"I can't take down Azrael on my own," he said, "and it's not like I can put on the Batsuit on afterwards either."

Helena waved a hand dismissively. "That much was clear, but why not someone more trustworthy."

"I trust you," Robin said without hesitating which was both endearing and also a little intimidating.

"But what about that Nightwing guy? Wouldn't he make a better choice."

For the first time that evening, Robin dimmed slightly. He looked away, an unreadable expression on his face. "Nightwing's... complicated," he said. And then, lighter again: "And maybe I want to make Batman sweat a little after ditching me with Azrael. Come on, it'll be fun. Please?" he added when she didn't say anything.

He made a very tempting case was the thing. Helena doubted that it would be as easy as he made it out to be, but it would be fun to mess with the real? former? Batman some.

"If we're doing this, does this mean I get to know who I'm partnering with?" she asked.

"Tim," Robin said, far easier than she was expecting. "Tim Drake. We have a deal then?" He stuck out a hand.

Helena shook. "We have a deal."

Have seen a lot of “Helena needs to be freed from the bats!” And you’re all very right. Mostly.

Helena’s stories definitely need to be freed from the bats, but she also needs to come home at the end of her day (that has been filled with stories that are hers and develop her character and focus on her themes) to find that Tim has broken into her apartment, stolen her snacks, and fallen asleep on her couch. She rolls her eyes, puts a blanket on him, and either goes to bed or keeps researching her case (depending on if it’s the end or the middle of her story).

Free her narratively from the bats, but let her keep her annoying little brother!

Jason Todd's development and how people view him as a character has been shaped by classism and to ignore this is to not only ignore a major part of Jason's character, but also how DC writes Jason with classism clouding most if not every mention of Jason.

For example, how heroes talk about Jason's death as though it was his fault, when it simply isn't. Bruce took Robin away from Jason, and in a situation where Jason relied on Robin for his worth and validity as Bruce's son this was extremely shortsighted of Bruce to do without the proper explanation of why he was taking it away. Jason was also sold to the Joker by the person he thought would understand him, and to put this is perspective, a little boy found his biological mother hoping to be accepted and seen but was instead sold to a terrorist clown.

People also perceive Jason as the angry Robin when he just plainly wasn't, in his actual run he was very happy and joyful but also complex, to try to simplify him or any other Robin to a trope is diminishing their character development, and don't think I wont mention Willis.

Willis is a criminal and in recent runs an abusive dad, but I personally find the idea of a character who wanted to help their family but had little to no financial backing resorting to crime going to prison and dying very compelling, it also adds a new layer to Jason and makes how he perceives criminals much more understandable, because against popular belief Jason doesn't just shoot down every criminal he meets but does shoot down those incapable of the means or wants to change.

Gotham is fundamentally fucked, the justice system doesn't work and remember there is a very prominent elite class, one that Bruce is apart of and is not fixing. in my opinion Bruce is only attacking at a surface level not going deeper, but Jason does go deeper and it works! It's not morally right but it never will happen to be morally right if the people in charge don't change.

I have to be honest and say I skimmed over some things and am not going very very deep into DCs classism issue when dealing with Jason but it is just my scattered thoughts from plenty of media and comics mushed into one, and maybe some people will reconsider Jasons character.

Tim was following a trail of drug dealers when he found himself in a veeery dark room. Imagine his surprise when he found himself face to face with a pair of pretty glowing green eyes! (He didn't hear or see anything- HOW THE HELL??) And oh boy, he's floating? AND HE'S HANDSOME- He can feel his ears burning

Danny on the other hand is just amaze by how pretty Red Robin is with even the mask on! (And upside down)
