It's not that she can't drink the water from the pond in the courtyard- I'm sure she'd be fine with it in a natural situation; but that pond doesn't have enough silicon to keep her body in fittest shape, on account of it being man-made.

I don't know how often you go out to see her, however you can always bring her some. If she doesn't want to drink, she won't, so you don't need to worry about her overhydrating or anything.

As for feeding, she does that herself. If you want to give her a treat, she likes licking fruits. I don't know why, but she does. Most likely the juice, I suppose.
