Jesus was anonymous for thirty years, gathered a small following, and lost them all as he died a criminal's death. When considering how a person's historical legacy outweighs their life's accomplishments, perhaps only Spartacus comes close. Spartacus endures because anybody could imitate him; Jesus endures because nobody else comes close. Spartacus is the embodiment of class and martial warfare; Jesus the ideal that breaks down such divisions.

Slow train journeys in rural England sure are an experience. You're going ten miles and it takes a day and a half because it stops at every lamp-post and the announcement says "The next station stop is Ferretley" or something and you think "I didn't know that was a place" and you get there and it isn't

If your opponent activates a card in their hand during the Main Phase of the turn you Normal or Special Summoned a ‘HERO’ monster (Quick Effect): You can pay 1500 LP and discard this card; negate that activation, and if you do, banish it. You can only use this effect of ‘Necessary Evil HERO’ once per turn, also you cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this effect, except ‘HERO’ monsters.

Fresh new sitcom idea: a spinoff of Modern Family but it's 1536 and the dissolution of the monasteries is in full swing. The patriarch is a secret Catholic and is hiding this from his long suffering wife and children. The guilt is eating him alive but he puts a brave face on things and has a reputation for being a total lad, a real joker, a good-time guy. Spoiler alert: they're all secretly Catholic but hiding it from the others. The family is tearing itself apart at the seams. Secrecy lurks beneath every punchline. It's a fun-filled series of heartwarming, wacky japes, set during the reign of terror of Henry VIII.

So the demon is basically someone who was created an angel, who was created good, who chose to refuse God's task — the task that God was asking of him […] now, what's interesting, though, is that they're assigned a task; who a demon is, his personal identity —his very nature, his essence— is his assigned task. So when he refused his assigned task, it was a perfect act of self-hatred. So they hate themselves too. Which is why when I hear people sit here, saying they hate themselves, I'm like, "Don't do that, that's what demons do."
Father Chad Ripperger (What is a Demon?)
